New Online IV Calculator

I have put up a new IV Calculator on my webpage that allows you to find the EXACT IVs of your Pokemon near level 20. It is different from all of the other calculators out there in the way I apply the formula. See sig for location.

Right so I have a question:

Do I need to train the pokemon up that I want to calculate the IV's of like normal, or if I just stick exp. share on it and train against something else and record those EV's, will it put it out of whack since the level will be low but there will be fewer EV's listed?

Lint: When it gets the exact IVs at the end, it will display the Hidden Power Type and Power as well for you. :)

Luke: Normally, I just have about 15 rare candies lying around and use that to check each new egg hatchling, and then reset so I dont use it. Though, if you use the Exp Share, just take note as to the EVs you are are getting and it won't affect anything.

Alright cool, it was just I was getting a lot of invalids. Anyways, I figured my IV's were pretty good on this pokemon anyways so I'm going ahead and levelling it. Now I've fed it 10 Iron's, and it currently has 242 EV's at Level 15 so would that change anything - it's just when I put the stats in earlier after using the Exp. Share to quickly level it up (and noting the HP/Def/Spd EV's it was receiving because of the Victory Road pokemon) all of it came up saying Invalid.

You have to keep track of them. A newly hatched egg has no EVs at all. If you don't know your EVs, you have to use the ev reducing berries in emerald and reduce all your EVs to 0.

Could you give me a sample of the data you entered? That would be the easiest way for me to debug it.

Spheal, Impish, HP Not Known
Level 16
HP: 53 (12 EVs)
Att: 21 (0 EVs)
Def: 37 (250 EVs)
Sp. Att: 23 (0 EVs)
Sp. Def: 25 (0 EVs)
Spd: 17 (0 EVs)

Just ran a check and they all came up invalid for me. But on your download program, I done the same and I go some near IV's, so I got something out of that at least.

Ahh... That is because instead of putting in the data at level 16, you need to change the level 5 to level 16 and put it at top... It goes from top to bottom...

Okay, that seems rather confusing, and I'm sure I read it all so it must not have been mentioned - but I may have missed it. Thanks anyways though, now I know what to do!

Stat Possible IVs
HP 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
Att 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26
Def 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25
SpA 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27
SpD 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
Speed 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31

Teehee, and I know that the HP is 31 - and that's my onl flawless. Ah well.

Whoa... This is actually better than the one in your program, since hitting the Reset button doesn't eliminate the extra rows for tracking the stats of more than one level. Awesome.
