Isn't this old news? I thought there was one already. Anyways, I'll get it if it comes to Canada.

To clear things up

Ok, there were a few other dead threads about this topic so I decided to clear things up on the most recent one. This particular DS Lite is only available through a drawing held by the Pokemon DAISUKI Club. There are only and always will be 150 in existence. NOT 150,000 like some have been saying. You can only be entered in the drawing by being a member of the afore mentioned club. The contest is held through an online game (in Japanese of course) in which you are required to hunt and play around for points more or less. You can aquire a max of 100 points (if you have ALOT of time on your hands and are really good at games) and "lots" I guess you would say, cost 30 points for the DS Lite drawing a piece. So, theroretically, you could enter a max of 3 times if you had 90 points (if they let you that is) making you 3 times more likely to win than if you just bought one lot. 100 will be awarded via the online game and the other 50 will be awarded through a cell phone type game drawing.Im not exactly sure on the specifics of the cell phone game though. The contest officially runs from Sept.1 through the 15 i think but your are able to collect points and play the game as of now.You just cant perchase a drawing entry yet. Oh, there are also other drawings that cost less points per entry that give out good prizes as well. and before you ask...

1.You have to have a Japanese address to be elligible to be a member. And need to somewhat read at least hiragana or katakana before you could even think about getting enough points on these games.

2.Yes I am a member of Pokemon Daisuki Club and have been playing all night like a zombie trying to get 90 points. I need 2 more. Even IF I get 3 entrys in, I more than likely wont win. But its worth a shot a guess.

3.I have a freind in Saitama who has agreed to be my Japanese address so If I do win, I can have it shipped to her.

Eh, this was the most recent one on the topic. i was letting those who know/are japanese they have a chance to enter still, as well as prevent anymore topics.

Meh, it's not that good. You might as well just draw a few Pikachu heads on your own DS. It would have been better if it had different colors.

Ehhh... I just have my normal DS which I got back last year or maybe in 2004 and thats fine for me. I probably won't be getting a DS Lite... not once have I struck the power button by accident just because it is placed different or anything like that. I must admit the DS Lite looks better, and I like this Pikachu version of it, but for me I just think its not really worth it.
