what is the hint that mimykyu will get a new form?

There is a episode preview for next week's show that shows Mimikyu's costume in the water with a dark shadowy creature with two glowing red eyes behind it, this presumes Mimikyu got out of its costume. Also worlds is next week so it would not be too far fetched for Mimikyu to get a new form and have it revealed at the opening ceremony of worlds.

Apparently the blue text boxt says this:

"A new form is started!!
A light that comes from another place is affecting some Pokemon in the new Alola!"

That is so cool! If true then perhaps that means there will be other pokemon getting new forms as well! Perhaps other Alolan pokemon too!

Ooooo Now that's promising! Some Ultra Space(?) power leaking through to alter Pokemon is a nice little excuse for "we wanted to add new forms for non-Legends". This could also lead to all kinds of things, most notably new Alola Forms.

And as for what Lycanroc-Dusk is bringing to the table, if it ends up with stats in-between Midnight and Midday (so 80/115/70/55/70/97) and has the same movepool (having Accelrock is a huge get that I am stoked about), on top of those Tough little Claws it has, then it has the potential to be a real beast. And that's great for me, since it's my favorite form for Lycanroc yet.

There was a glowing green light in the sky, matching Lycanroc-Dusk's eye color. We have no context as to what that light is, but it could be a concentrated form of the radiation that tags Fallers and provides UB's with their Beast Boost. It's also worth noting that when a Pokemon evolves into an Alola Form, the evolution screen is green instead of the usual orange, so that could mean something.

I was splitting the difference between the two spreads, putting Dusk's spread right in the middle of the 30 point Speed difference and the 10 point HP, Defense, and Sp. Defense differences.

Yeah, I though it was just the Green Flash that sunsets have. Then again it has been said that Lycanroc's two forms were influenced by the legendaries, so what's influencing this?

The only issue with that is that Rockruff, in-game, doesn't evolve based solely on the time of day. It also evolves into specific forms based on the influence of certain Pokemon, namely Solgaleo and Lunala.

So, based on that information, it stands to reason that additional criteria need to be met to evolve Rockruff into Lycanroc-Dusk, likely the influence of some additonal force, like the power of a Pokemon or the radiation from Ultra Space.

Necrozma. Has to be Necrozma. That one needs to have importance.

Dusk Lycanroc is just pure Rock, right? I really wanted it to have a secondary typing to at least differ it from the other two forms.

I also wonder if 'Dusk lycanroc will have the chance to evolve at two different times of day since both dusk/dawn are mid-transition between the ti.es of day. Might be some Ultra energy involved, hm.
