Does anyone know if there is ever going to be a new pokemon game where you can travel in jhoto kanto and hoenn... as well as the orange islands and other side adventures that i havent mentioned. Like a game where you can go everywhere on the plain and get all the pokemon. I also want to see a gamecube game where its not just and rpg, but you can pick which pokemon where you want to battle with and actually control it...do its attacks and where you actually have to move out of the way of the other pokemons attacks, etc.

Nope. Not happening.

Orange Islands = Anime/Toshiro Ono manga only.

GameCube's pretty much no longer in Nintendo's eye. They're focusing on the Revolution's development. :s

You might want to buy, Mysterious Dungeon Red and Blue, becuase you can actually control the Pokemon in that. Although I'm not sure how you battle but it's still pretty close.

I'm curious if Diamond/Pearl will visit the Johto region, since there's a Sneasel evolution, and Sudowoodo prevolution. x_x

neh there won't be a game like that, and I highly doubt they'll make a johto remake sine the only reason they made fr/lg was cause kanto pokes where scarce and now with a combo off all the gba and game cube games you can get all johto pokes

...What in the hell did that have to do with anything? -_-0

Anyways, I would hate it if game space were wasted for mere fanservice. Putting some old, tired regions into NEW games would p*ss the hell outta me, and I'd feel cheated out of money. :/

In theory, Kanto was a good idea to have in Gold/Silver/Crystal. Unfortunately they pulled it off poorly by having all the good things about it gone. :s

yes i know, i think they were just too lazy to inlcude the museum, route 19, safari zone, (butthead was on vacation ^__^) and other stuff. i like going back because u can go back to ur favorite regions in one game. that would take up a lot of memeory too...

That's cool a new game!

LMAO U THOUGHT IT WAS REAL??!!

wtf...

on topic: everyone says that orange only should be in the anime and manga, i don't think so.

The Orange Islands would only be fun because of their gym battle mini-game potential.

About a "Pokémon fighting game," I'd like to see s SSBM-esque game with Pokémon as characters.

This would be awesome.

i think there will be a remake of GS if Pokemon remains popular but it will not be any time soon so wait for a few years before you start thinking about it.
