New Pokemon set

I just Mono'd with bug, and I'm bored of it
So.. What pokemon should I get?

This isn't make me a team. But here's what I have on my team; you might like some of them.

Sceptile
Ursaring
Ampharos
Aggron
Heracross
Skarmory

If you are mono'ing with bug I'd suggest to use Heracross, Armaldo, Ninjask, Shedinja and umm maybe Flygon if you count it it is the the Bug Egg Group and if you can get them Forretress, Scizor or Pinsir

If you are bored with Bug try normal types. Normal types are fun

 

[Volteon]

Normal is a great option, the best pokémon are included in this type (Miltank, Snorlax, Slaking, Ursaring, Porygon2, Blissey, etc.)
With Water you have a lot of option, such as Milotic, Feraligatr, Starmie, Lanturn, Swampert, Gyrados, Vaporeon, etc.
You have a limited choices for ghost, but you can try it (gengar, Dusclops, Misdreavus, Bannete, Sableye, Shedinja)
Dragon would be a good option, if every representant didn´t have an ice weakness (Kingdra isn´t, but it won´t kill THAT much)
Flying is fun, because you can get every type with it (excluding Ghost, Fighting and... I´d include Dark)
Ground is now an variated gorup with Swampert, Claydol, Flygon, etc.
Electric.... poor electric, the only good pokémon in this group are Jolteon (of course), Zapdos and Raikou... maybe electrode.

Ninja kirby´s suggestion for bug is good.

well, I already gave my ideas...

Another thing you can do is a monocolorized team (every pokémon in the same colour category from the déx).

If you think interesting I´d recomend Yellow:
Jolteon (or ampharos), Typhlosion, Sandslash, Hypno (or exeggutor), Ninjask and... shuckle? Moltres?

Brown:
Shedinja, Tauros, Slaking, Primeape, Alakazam and Marowak.

Blue... well, it´s the biggest one but you can get good things there.

Like Volteon said, Ground is nicely varied now IMO. I'd go with it,
