Recently, I restarted Soulsilver, and here's my plan for my final team. Obviously, I won't be using the tutor moves until after beating the Elite 4. Also, I won't be using egg moves at all.

Typhlosion
- Focus Blast
- Flamethrower
- Thunder Punch
- Shadow Claw

well sunny day hinders politoads surf and you could unexpectidly help the oponent if they have an ability like chlorophyl.
it sometimes goes well but not alway so i suggested this. nature can be anything that works for mixed.

Grass Knot > Swift on espeon

i like mixed electrive so i usually go with thunder bolt > thunder punch. you decide which you want.

here are some quick suggestions for a start. i'll leave the rest for others.
nice team!

Speed Boost Yanmega needs Protect to ensure it's boost. It's last slot can be whatever coverage move you feel it needs.

Typhlosion wants the standard Eruption/Flamethrower/Earthquake/Thunderpunch. You could forgo Earthquake in favor of Focus Blast, but that's up to you.

Rock Slide>Tomb on Hitmonlee. There's no reason not to. I'm not too fond of Earthquake on it, but you really can't do much better unless you get Mach Punch which is iirc an Egg move.

The Standard MixVire set is Flamethrower/Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Earthquake while PhysicVire is Thunderpunch/Ice Punch/Earthquake/Cross Chop. Play whichever you prefer.

1.Typhlosion@Wise Glasses
Ability:Blaze
Nature:Modest
-Flamethrower
-Earthquake
-Solarbeam Extrasensory
-Eruption
Extrasensory for more coverage overrall example those Ghost types you will often encounter.

2.Politoed@Wise Glasses
Ability:Water Absorb
Nature:Modest
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Focus Blast
-Hypnosis
Looks good.

3.Yanmega@Wise Glasses
Ability:Speed Boost
Nature:Modest
-Bug Buzz
-Air Slash
-Ancientpower Protect
-Hypnosis
Use Protect to get that Speed Boost in.

4.Espeon@Wise Glasses
Ability:Synchronize
Nature:Timid
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Signal Beam
-Swift
Looks alright.

5.Hitmonlee@Muscle Band
Ability:Limber
Nature:Adamant
-Close Combat
-Blaze Kick
-Rock Tomb Stone Edge
-Earthquake Sucker Punch
Stone Edge for coverage and also covers one of his major weaknesses(Flying types). Sucker Punch for priority and also covers
another one of his weaknesses(Psychic types).

6.Electivire@Expert Belt
Ability:Motor Drive
Nature:Adamant
-Thunder Punch
-Ice Punch
-Brick Break Cross Chop
-Earthquake
Cross Chop for better base power and this is the proper set to run.

Hope this helped.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I've made quite a few changes in accordance to them. However, as I said, I won't be using egg moves as many of you suggested. Also, I've made two notable changes to my team. First, I've decided to use Tinted Lens rather than Speed Boost on Yanmega, which I believe is the more useful of the two in-game. Second, I've decided to use Machamp in place of Hitmonlee.

Machamp@Muscle Band
Ability:No Guard
Nature:Adamant
-Dynamic Punch
-Payback
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
Looks good, but there is better which requires Egg Moves.

Yanmega@Wise Glasses
Ability:Tinted Lens
Nature:Modest
-Bug Buzz
-Air Slash
-Anicentpower Giga Drain
-Shadow Ball
I go ahead and get rid of that Anicentpower. Even though it could possibly boosted everything. I think your Speed Boost Yanmega would of done just fine In-Game.

It's good, but consider Rock Slide>Stone Edge for accuracy and PP ;) You should run Choice Band for the extra power since you're already running four attacking moves ;)

Rock Slide only has 10+ better accuracy than Stone Edge. Which isn't much at all. I rarely miss with Stone Edge and know alot of other people who do too. Also has a high crit hit ratio. Also wouldn't use a Choice item of any. Cause of it simply locking you into 1 move, making it a real pain to make use of your other moves for coverage. Remember that this is also In-Game. So basically you can do good with any kind of team with at least good coverage moves. I would suggest using some Choice items if it was competitive. Another thing, that 100 base power. Makes up for that 10% lesser accuracy and 5 less PP useage.

Uhm, lol. No-one saw the ability of this Machamp? No Guard it is. What it does: ensuring the hit always lands, or to put it some other way. Full accuracy with every single move. Use Stone Edge, please?

Yes I know this Emerald. But this is a few reasons, just in case he can't get a No Guard Machamp.

I just recently came to the realization that Electabuzz can't actually be captured prior to defeating the Elite 4. For that reason, I have decided to instead use Tangrowth on my team in its place, with the following moveset:

[IMG139]http://floatzel.net/pokemon/black-white/sprites/images/465.png[/IMG139]
Tangrowth
-Chlorophyll-
-Power Whip
-Sleep Powder
-Sludge Bomb
-Earthquake

Comments would be greatly appreciated.

Sleep Powder can be used to help with setting up.If not use Sludge Bomb to hit fellow Grass Types ;)
