Are you sure? The prevailing wisdom is that those shots came from "Prince of the Sea"'s World Of Pokémon intro, and the Rayquaza pic is from a scene introducing the Pokémon Ranger Jackie.

If you look closely at the first pic, you will see Hun and Attila with that japanese doctor. Prof. or doctor Shiranui or something or other.

Once again, why would they put scenes from a special episode in a movie trailer? Now, I'm no expert, but because these scenes are in the movie trailer, common sense tells me that they will be part of the movie somehow. There is nothing indicating that there will be a new special episode, regardless of what that site says.

They don't animate episodes in widescreen anyway.

Geez, we all complain when the writers/animators don't include characters we've seen before, and when they do, everybody jumps to conclusions.

Yes, these are from the movie. I've seen the trailer and Brendan looks more like a 2-5 minute cameo. You don't really see him that much afterwords, well as much as the other characters.

This is pretty old now anyway.

Isn't Pokemon-Safari a fan made site?
My guess is that they're assuming it's a new Special because there's no reference to the Movie in the trailer and there's Hoso characters in it.

I'm pretty sure it's apart of the Movie, as why would they showcase a Special on the Movie site? Makes no sense to me...

If they are going to be in the movie, and are not just one of the many things they put into the trailer and don't appear in the actually movie, they'll probably just be scenes from the 'World of Pokemon' speech at the begining.

Attila and Hun aren't just out to get Rayquaza, they already HAVE him. He's hooked up to Pr. Sebastian's machine thing and he's being electrocuted or...something...

That's pretty major. I mean, even if it is just a scene introducing Jackie, they at least deserve speaking parts. Just one line. One word. I want to hear him say something. Oh god. T_T *desperate*

Ahem. Anyways, as said before it makes no sense that they would advertise a special in the trailer for the 9th movie. I mean...it's a movie trailer. Can you imagine watching the trailer for X-men or something, and randomly in the middle they go, 'Oh yeah, and don't forget to catch this week's episode on Cartoon Network where Magneto blah blah blah'. :/ They wouldn't do that with pokemon, either.
