New Spoiler Tag

Our old spoiler tag looked really crappy and due to lots of people abusing it to hell

Well I have decided to implement a new spoiler tag based on the tags that the other forums around the Internet use instead of the cacky highlight one, however this uses JavaScript so you have to enable it to use I have also deleted the other so you cannot use it anymore

To use this one you need to do the following, say for example you were going to spoil our Unique Visitor count for yesterday you would set it out like this:

[ spoiler=Serebii.net's Hits ]Serebii.net got 35,990 Unique Visitors yesterday[ /spoiler ]

Without the spaces in the code so that it would come up as

Spoiler: Serebii.net's Hits

Serebii.net got 35,990 Unique Visitors yesterday

With you having to click the spoiler to view it

The bit after the spoiler bit in the tag is to set the nature of the spoiler so that the user can decide whether or not to view it, then the rest is the actual spoiler

Hope you enjoy it and it stops any issues.

Alternatively you can just use this button on the Post Editor to bring it up:

Neat idea! The old ones were a little old... And annoying. These ones are much niftier.

They also allow us to know what we are about to highlight a little more, which is good. Kinda like the quotes.

That outline around it really bothers me. However, it works, and it's better than the original spoiler tag (or at least the one when I was here, it didn't cover ANYTHING), so it's all good.

Wait, do the old spoiler tags still exist? Cause I often find that I use spoilers in the middle of a sentence and I can't really do that with this new tag.

Anyway, nice! The old spoiler tags looked really crappy TBH, but this one looks neater. It's also nice to see what the spoiler is about, instead of accidentally highlighting something that you don't want to see.

I like the new spoiler tag, yes. More professional. But the problem with it is, it takes up more room if you want to put it in your sig.

I personnaly believe this new spoiler tag will be awkward when inserting a spoiler in the middle of a sentance.
Nevertheless, its a nice idea and alot more effective than the original spoiler tags.

Hmm...perhaps not. It's just as possible to make spoiler jokes in sigs now, but on the other hand it takes up more space so that may put people off. Anyway, most people will still think it's funny to put spoiler tag jokes in their sigs.

Nice, I like these spoilers alot more than the old ones. Allthough it may take up more room, I find it to be much more effective.
