Spoiler: If you don't want my useless input...

Gengar- Looks like its right arm is dislocated
Onyx- Really? WTF
Rapidash- Looks amazing
Scyther- I know it's just a swap of frames, but it still looks awesome anyway
Gyarados- Seriously? It doesn't look like a Pokémon with INTIMIDATE
Vaporeon- I liked it before, but it still looks good. Much more calm too.
Snorlax- Is Japan making fun of America? It's sprite was WAY better before
Pichu- Same with Scyther, but EXTREMELY cute
Espeon- Its tail looks... awkward
Umbreon- Looks like its face got stretched
Steelix- I don't like Steelix, but this just makes him retarded
Scizor- The DP sprite was bad IMO, so this an improvement
Heracross- A good swap, its not humping anymore
Sneasel- Meh, the 2nd frame looks better.
Gardevoir- I LOVE this sprite, it looks like a DJ with its arm
Roselia- Looks like it's from the Anime, not bad, but it looked better in DP
Absol- Simply AWESOME! No other words can describe it
Torterra- I actually sad about this one. I looks like they TRIED to change it, but just copied its head from DP onto its different perspective body in Pt
Infernape- Very good, although it looks like Lucario
Empoleon- The second frame looks way better IMO
Staraptor- WAY better and looks even MORE emo
Bibarel- This Pokémon sucks anyway...
Shinx- It went from cute to UBER cute
Luxray- Looks like it's staring down on you in the battle screen
Roserade- Best swap IMO, looks way more roseradish
Rampardos- Eh, looks like the Anime, I still like the charging one from DP
Vespiquen- Better I suppose
Buizel- I actually love this one, it looks like the Buizel from the manaphy movie
Floatzel- .............................WTF
Gastrodon and its ilk- Looks like they are saying ZOMG!!
Lopunny- Looks even MORE sexy than its DP counterpart, go playboy bunny!
Skuntank- I know no one likes this one but it fits the Pokémon perfectly!
Bronzong- Took some SERIOUS skill to pull this sprite off! -.-
Gible- I want to kick that thing in the mouth
Munchlax- I looks like its trying to remember something but forgets
Riolu- My second favorite! I love that strut that he does!
Lucario- Perhaps if he wasn't kneeling down...
Hippowdon- I never liked this Pokémon but now it looks more appealing, the open jaw bugged me
Skorupi- Its second animation is like, "bring it on mo-fo!"
Croagunk- Really? Some serious art skills on Game Freak's part
Magnezone- Meh, anyone else notice it got red and blue colors on its magnet ends?
Rhyperior- WHAT THE $&%#? It looks like a garbage dispenser. The DP one was way better IMO
Electivire- LOL, it looks like he's going super saiyan. AYAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
Magmortar- One of the better sprites, very good.
Togekiss- ........
Yanmega- Very good, much better
Leafeon- Looks much cuter, as with all the Eevee evolutions
Glaceon- WAY better, its ear extending forward always bothered me in DP
Gliscor- Much better, it looks like its saying, "on guard!"
Porygon-Z- A lot better, looks as if its floating in an abyss
Gallade- WTF, the old one looked way better. This one is a poophead
Dusknoir- He looks so much smaller. Why?\
Dialga- Looks like a piece of ****
Palkia- Seemingly better, but still, I don't how the legendaries "come at you"
Heatran- Looks like a dog wagging its tail, how cute!
Regigigas- It doing a low kick! whoosh
Giratina- Another form kind of sucks but Original form great
Darkrai- OK, but still has that "coming at you" look

And finally the best of the best...
Weavile- ****ING AWESOME!!!!!!! I think someone called him an Icy Ninja, LOL I love that!

Also, what I did find very awesome was the back sprite animation, especially these that look at you before battling:

"Hi!"

Damn, this Pokémon's eyes are gorgeous

What?

"What shall I do, Boss?"

">.<"

And this back animation is the ****!

LOL!

Also, I know Game Freak would NEVER do this, but wouldn't it be cool if they had different sprites for the nature? I don't know, it would look very neat and all the Pokémon would look different, although it might ruin competitive battling since it would automatically tell you its nature; although you could disable the feature online. It would still look cool though, like a Attack Boosting nature would make them look tough or something, Sp. Attack Boosting nature would look more wise, etc.
Anyway, overall most of the sprites are good, especially Weavile, and some, well....

Vaporeon looks so awesome! I like this one waaaaaaay better than the D/P one. ^_^

I love weavile but Pikachu looks kind of wierd to me. IDK. I also love the back sprites that look at you.

Shaymin looks great in this sprite IMO. Unfortunately, came another sprite.

When I first saw this, I was like.. ****. Looks like it grew eyelashes and placed some eyeliner. Seriously >_>

Serebii says that this is the official platinum site, but the Shaymin for Feb. 7 news shows the shaymin using the first sprite. Which is the real one? |:

The second sprite is the second frame, I believe. Both are real.

And the first sprite wasn't used for the TRU Shaymin. It's for D/P, so it used the D/P-sprite.

 

[Ghost Dialga]

I like the new sprites, they made Darkrai look even cooler! There are some that disturb me, and some that make me laugh.
Skuntank - Weirdest pose EVER
Arceus - "Must jump this fence!"
Floatzel - Remind you of someone? Someone like a 'Y' in a song? That's right! The YMCA song! Floatzel looks the 'Y' guy.
So many new ones, so many cool ones, and so many weird ones.

I don't like most of the sprites
Ones I like: Torterra: It's new Pose makes it look better
Shinx: Cuter than the original
Rosrade: It looks a little sexier in male version
Rampardos: Better you can see it's head and It looks better standing.
Lopunny: Kicks ***** with it's new sprite XD
Duskunior: Lol it has a better * I'm gonna get you look*
Arceus: It's looks better with it's giddy up like sprite

Sprites I hate:
Turtwig: WTF It looks stupid now!
Piplup: I hate the way it's head is looking.
Cresselia: Is not as Beautiful if looking that way
Pikachu: Looked better in D/P
Mesprit: Looked batter in D/P It's now less cute

Lucarios back-sprite is perfect for him, as it makes him look like he's going to fire off an Aura Sphere at any moment.

Pikachu's just made me laugh, seriously...

Scratch that, Feebas' is funnier...

Honchkrows kind of fits it too, although you'd think that it wouldn't look at you, considering its name and all that...

Wobbuffets is just like in the anime, when he does his famous salute

Lopunny's fits, but it doesnt; its kind of hard to explain

and lastly, Nintails back sprite makes it look like its completley and utterly lost

Very good, over all; i've noticed that i like a lot of the back sprites more than the front sprites (especially Lucarios; his front sprite looks like he got shot in a war or something...)

Shaymin Screenshot is from serebii. Looks like the second set of sprites, doesn't really look like the second frame. If the screenshot comes from the game, it means that it's the official sprite for platinum- but the dex and several websites say that the third is the official :B

that's why im confused lol

Favorite sprite

mines Dialga, Altered Giratina (from torn world) , Weaviles and Scizors, those look really cool.

My favorite character sprite is the male heroes weirdly as it looks rather trendy and cool unlike the one in d/p which looked like some french dude

I think they all look cool! I like it that all the main characters you battle could move. Damion's (or whatever you call the rival >.<) sprite movement reminds me of a monkey.XD

I think the new sprite of lickilicky looks adorable, the same goes with turtwig.
I don't really like the sprites of roselia and roserade because they look
much more feminin now. I also think that a lot of sprites look better because the pokemon faces (Gardevoir,Froslass,Combee) and I'm really glad they changed Lopunny, now it doesn't look like a ***** anymore xD.
Alot of pokemon don't look very well because of the darker coloring (Misdreavus,Octillery,Girafarig),
and some pokemone look idiot, I meanit looks like Skuntank is pissing and Chatot and Snover look High x3.
P.S.
Crystic, were did you get the backsprites? I can't find them anywere.

I'm so happy with how Gliscor, Scizor, and Leafeon look in Platinum. ^_^ Gliscor's eyes are way better, Scizor's stance is so awesome, with his darker red, and Leafeon looks more graceful, somehow. It's so cute.
