Does anyone else hate the Geodude line's new sprites? Geodude and Graveler are basically the second frame sprites from Diamond and Pearl, and Golem's head looks a bit odd.

Shellos/Gastrodon's bother me because of their mouths' being open all the time.
Bidoof's makes me lol
and Gible's kinda freaks me out.

But yeah, most of them are pretty cool. I agree with the whole, Pt sprites looking more direct or having more personality.

I like most of them. I just don't like how some were barely changed at all. Like Hippopotas. They just used the same legs at a different angle. Wahh, cool.

The Gardevoir sprite got a HUGE change, which I love because now it's DOING something, not just standing.. But now Eevee looks like a rabbit... :-(

dragonite doesn't have a new sprite.

and yanmega/gliscor are my favorite new sprites.

I love most of them. However, I HATE some of them. I cannot take Floatzel seriously anymore...

- Everytime a new game comes out I always have to see what the eeveelutions look like. I love them all in Platinum.
- Pikachu FINALLY looks like it does in the anime.
- I really like the angles Vespiquen and Rhyhorn are in.
- I absolutely HATE Budew and Roselia's sprites. But Roserade's is spectacular, so it kind of makes up for them.
- It looks like somebody sat on Misdreavus.
- I want to hug Lickitung.

I like Lucario's new sprite.

But if you look closely you can see that his knee is bent in the "wrong" place. In the D/P sprite it's bent at his blue "pants" line and in the new one it's bent in the black part. So maybe Lucario is double jointed?

well lucario is somewhat double jointed in brawl so i would assume the same would apply for D/P/Pt

and i agree, the lucario sprite is pretty cool.

When you wear shorts, does the knee become visible at a slight bend of the joint, or does it become visible at an acute bend? Lucario's knee is visible because it's bent at more of an angle than in D/P.

EDIT: Although, the angle makes it look like Lucario's "pant legs" are uneven...:/

no, i think he has 2 knees.

notice, on the one where he's standing...he has the human-like knee then the same kind of joint as the back leg of a dog.

Why didn't they design new sprites to all the pokemon? I wish they gave Salamence a new pose.
