New Super Mario Bros.: Secret Challenge Mode

This is somewhat interesting. You know how in the original game, you could only go to the right, and you couldn't backtrack? This code makes NSMB like that. On the start screen after you've beaten the game, press L R L R X X Y Y. A message should come up saying that you've unlocked Secret Challenge Mode.

EDIT: Since people seem to be having trouble, I'll post the exact directions here:

1. Beat the game.
2. Choose the file that you've beaten the game on.
3. On the World Map, press start.
4. Input the button combination above.

I think it's fake, someone must have found it before now, but there's no mention of it anywhere except here.

First you say start screen, then you say world map, then you say start screen again. Be specific. :s Most people think start screen is the intro, before you select your file?

Anyway, I just tried it WHILE PRESSING START. Guess it works. Submitted it to GameWinners. 8D

It works, he's just not clear with his directions:

(after you've beaten the game) ON THE WORLD MAP, PRESS START TO BRING UP THE START MENU

THEN PRESS L R L R X X Y Y AND YOU'LL GET A MESSAGE

to take off challenge mode simply reinput the code.
