New Super Mario Bros.

-SI-

Is it all it is cracked up to be?

I could have got it, if i did all the dishes for a week, then i gave in and thought of it a little more. Should i get another game, Hold the offer, or get the game?

oh get the game. Its great especially the minigames. The levels look amazing (especially the underwater ones) and the enemies dance to the background music :D.

It is a decent game. Pretty good, but it is not that great as the orginal NSB.

It's a great game, but it's on the short side.

Gone...
Sure, it's short, but it has a great replayability level. they mix old elements with the newer ones (IE. Wall jumps, ground pound, classic enemies, classic level endings). I just have a feeling of nostalgia whenever I play it. It's awesome.

Thank you, SPPf! :)
It will last you a few weeks, but not months. Just do the friggin' dishes. I have to wash the dishes every single day and I don't even get rewarded for it.

Get it. It's awesome if you're an origional Super Mario Bros. fan. And if you're not it's still fun. (Dancing Goombas ^_^)

I think this game is really good for the reasons eveyone else did. Yes it's short but the levels are difficult.;311;

It only lasted me a few days, unfortunately. ._.

Well, one week if you count all the times I replayed levels because I was bored.

What they said.
Get it.
NOW.
It's a really fun game, a lot of replay value, and has a fun but short multiplayer mode.

I'm less than satisfied. What's the use of having 3-D-like characters on a 2-D side scroller? It just...bothers me. Call me paranoid if you must. I'll stick to SMB3, thank you very much. New Super Mario Bros. lacks some very important qualities in Mario side scrollers.

First of all, It can get repetitive. The mid stage boss is exactly the same in all 8 worlds just on a different platform, for example. The Giant Mushroom, I find no practical use in. It is just another marketing ploy. The game also lacks the star. How could any mario game not have the star that makes you invincible? Also, my favorite power-up was removed. Raccon Mario. Yoshi also appears seemingly absent in this game. You cannot run as fast as in the previous games, either. My last complaint, is of the mushroom that makes you tiny. This bypasses the innotive and challenging puzzles of getting to secret areas, as in SMB3.

There's my two dollars.
