New Team Rocket Motto speculation thread *May contain traces of Spoilers*

Mod's I have searched for a thread like this but I have not found any. If there is a thread feel free to close it.

Okay, for those who aren't in the U.S.
Team Rocket has made a new motto.
This thread is to speculate about it whether you prefer the old one or the new one, what you think about it, and blah, blah blah!
Okay, here is how it goes:
Jessie: Prepare for trouble
James: Make it Double
Jessie: As evil as old as the Galaxy
James: Sent here to fufill our destiny
Meowth: With Meowth of course!
Jessie: Jessie
James: James
Meowth: Meowth's the name!
Jessie: And when there's trouble in the universe...
James: Team Rocket's there...
All: To make everything worse!
Wobbufett: Wobbufett!
Chimecho: Chime, chime chime!

Start speculating!

What is there to speculate exactly? We know what it is and we know it'll slightly change to fit a given situation on any given occassion. There's nothing to speculate.

See, this isn't speculation so much as stating opinions...but I'll state both.

Speculation: People will continue to make odd threads without knowing what some of the words they're using mean. Other people will continue to reply with the same gist that every other replier replied with before a mod comes with with the dreaded tool known as re-pliers and locks the thread.

Opinion: The old motto is cool because of nostalagia, the new one is cool because it DOES sound cooler.

True. The new motto makes Jessie, James and Meowth more evil (at least at the end of the motto)

I think the point of the motto is to make Team Rocket seem like a group of people/Pokémon who try as hard as they can to be evil but can't be evil because they're too silly and human.

I guess. But you have to admit there have been several times where Team Rocket almost won.

Hey, I like that, Shift. It sure beats the new motto, which IMHO doesn't flow well at all. This one would have made much more sense in the earliest season, when they were actually acting like villains a lot of time. The only thing I like better about it now is that Meowth has more lines; I always thought it was unfair that out of eleven lines he only had one. But maybe it's just the translation that stinks, as I haven't heard the new version in Japanese and wouldn't know.

Thanks, you guys. I was trying to adapt the Japanese version of the new motto for our fandub project, so I'm glad you like it.
