New Team Time

Well, it's been a while since I have played with school, and work, and everything but I have had a lot of time lately so I have gotten back into playing a little. Here is what I'm thinking.
Meganium - Grass
-Razor Leaf
-Synthesis
-BOdy Slam
-Toxic
Gengar - Ghost/Poison
-Ice Punch
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Mean Look/Curse/Destiny Bond
Steelix - Rock/Steel
-Earthquake
-Curse
-Body Slam
-Roar
Dragonite
-Wing Attack
-Thunderbolt
-Ice beam
-Thunderwave
Snorlax
-Rest
-Return
-Fire Blast
-Earthquake
This is very similar to my last team but with just a few changes. Dragonite was added to cover some weaknesses in the first three pokemon and Snorlax was added to cover some of Dragonite's weaknesses.

Meganium - Grass
-Razor Leaf
-Synthesis
-BOdy Slam
-Toxic
~ Yep, one of the stanard Meganiums

Gengar - Ghost/Poison
-Ice Punch
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Mean Look/Curse/Destiny Bond
~ Gengar is a hard one, but Ice Punch, Thunderbolt, Destiny Bond/Explosion, Mean Look

Steelix - Rock/Steel
-Earthquake
-Curse
-Body Slam
-Roar
~ Yep

Dragonite
-Wing Attack
-Thunderbolt
-Ice beam
-Thunderwave
~ Dragonite isnt a special sweeper, but this works. the Physical set is much better IMO. Body Slam/Thunderwave/Dragon Breath, Double Edge/Return, Curse, Thunderbolt

Snorlax
-Rest
-Return
-Fire Blast
-Earthquake
~ DrumLax is better. Belly Drum, Rest, Earthquake, Return@Mint Berry

The main reason that I wanted Snorlax to have Fire Blast was because I have a big Ice weakness. Now that I think about it though, I think that an Electric pokemon might be a better choice.

I like leech seed > Toxic

Gengar - Ghost/Poison
-Ice Punch
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Mean Look/Curse/Destiny Bond

Hypnosis in the last slot and Explosion > Psychic

Steelix - Rock/Steel
-Earthquake
-Curse
-Body Slam
-Roar

I like explosion or rock slide > Body slam

Dragonite
-Wing Attack
-Thunderbolt
-Ice beam
-Thunderwave

innovative but working set

Snorlax
-Rest
-Return
-Fire Blast
-Earthquake

Curse or belly drum > Fire Blast/Earthquake.

You have only 5 Pokemon. :/

Your right, since there arnt many Ice types, and most are part water anyway. the most come ice beamers or water types anyway. The only ice types you should try and cover is Jynx and Sneasel & Piloswine, other wise they are all duel Ice/water or flying, so and electric would be best

yeah use a bolter in the sixth slot, maybe Ampharos since he can actually take a hit.

I'd use Thunderbolt/Fire Punch/Light Screen/Thunder wave for your team seeing as you have a teensy problem taking ice hits.

I don't know how common Piloswine is but I'm thinking that maybe the last slot would be best filled with a fighting type. I mean I already have Gengar who is almost a boltbeamer and then Dragonite, although he might change. Maybe Poliwrath or Machamp would be a better choice.

Piloswine is about as common as clean socks in a wash basket.
HAHA well that's good to hear. So I guess Ampharos it is.
