Wow, this is surprising. I mean, right after Ash's battle with Brandon we go right to the Grand Festival? Shouldn't there be a couple of fillers or something?

EDIT: I saw SPP. and there is indeed a filler. My bad. I still think there should be more fillers after that before the Grand Festival.

We have one episode people have classed as a filler, even though there is speculation of:

Ash losing to Bradon, the guys go to train while going to the GF. Ash catches a Giant Slaking from the next episode. GF, then they head back to Brandon.

But its all speculation.

Considering what Ash does with his Pokemon, it's more likely that he'll just convince Slaking to come with him, then once he beats Brandon he''ll give it to Brandon or he'll release it back into the wild.

But yes, it's just speculation.

So basically, we go from one big episode to the next? This makes little sense. Maybe there are more fillers to add in between besides the one we know of.

Uhh ~Rekkuza Ryuu~ the last time ash convinced a pokemon to help him battle and then release it was haunter, way back in kanto, Just thought i should bring that up.

Grand festival is here, hopefully. I want to see harley mop the floor with everyone. Only one thing i want may to beat drew.

It's Battle Pyramid, Giant Slaking filler, Grand Festival.

So there is one filler between the two.

Yes, because that happens all the time...ash always goes and convinces Pokemon to help him and then releases them

my opinion is that i've never like contest episodes that much, and i will not enjoy this episode.

Hmm, I'm not sure if Ash should catch a giant Slaking, even though that was my immediate thought when seeing the episode title. It reminds me of his Snorlax way too much.

For the other title though, seems like we will be finishing this Saga soon if it is indeed in the correct place :/

I hope that Skitty and Bulbasaur do not return. Skitty is repugnant and Bulbasaur has had more than enough screentime in the series (Plus I don't like May's Bulbasaur as much as Ash's). I don't mind Beautifly but May should stick with her regular team.
