New to hard core competitive battling: My (bad) NB Team.

The only real competitive battling I've done is with my friends. I found Netbattle, and realized that all of us were really crappy. This is my team. I know its abhorable, but I'm hoping for a fix. No cursing please, brutally honest is fine. (I've never mastered natures/ EV's either)

HP grass>HP Ice for Zappy. Grass is for swampert and pals.

Besides a thunderbolt does good enough damage for salamence etc. HP ice isn't as good as HP grass IMO.

Sceptile wants HP fire OR HP ice but I prefer fire for skarm/steels that switch in and what not. You may want to consider petaya berry as well.

Either use that or you can use the staller set...

File-->export to text for easier readings. Milotic is a great pokemon. High hp, special attack, and special defense along with bold for increased defense. Marvel scale, recover. it is stopped by pokes like suicune but it cant do anything to milotic. It counters pokes like salamence, milotic does.

Dragonite needs Sub for the set to work best. Outrage sucks. If you wanted to use something like that, then use Dragon Claw and Flamethrower>BoltBeam. Dragon Claw only has 10 less base power than Outrage with none of its disadvantages.

Drill Peck Zapdos kinda fell off after GSC. Doesn't do much to Blissey (like 20% IIRC) and Celebi is kinda meh. Go with Substitute over Drill Peck. Also, HP Ice > HP Grass. HP Grass might be for "Swampert and friends," but HP Ice is for Salamence, Dragonite, Celebi, Venusaur, Sceptile, Flygon, Exeggutor, etc. Only use HP Grass if you find your team to have a really huge Swampert weakness.

I actually like HP Fire, for Metagross. I don't know that anyone else uses it, though. If using Petaya Berry, put Endeavor over Leech Seed. Otherwise, just switch to Lefties.
