New Town Names

What do you think the new Diamond/Pearl town names will be? What do you think they will name them after?

There was a thread on this a while back. I suggested that some town names could be named after zodiac signs. :-/
I was thinking that they could also name it after colors again; b/c IRL there are numerous colors.

Now seriously. How the hell do you think we'd know. The towns will be revealed MUCH MORE later than the actual monsters will be. Theres really no reason for this thread.

Actually though, that wouldn't be a terrible idea. You start out in Aquaria, then go to Pisca and whatnot. Although constellations in general might be better than just the twelve zodiac signs.

Hmmm...I think a mixture of colours and Japanese mystical beasts would be good for town names.

LoL I didn't even think about the constellations and I'm currently taking an astronomy lab class in college *smacks forehead* I like the constellations idea.

Well, given they only feel like making twelve cities or towns, Zodiacs might be better to go with, but I like the idea of using constellations more. That'll add some variety in that not everyone would know about.

True. Of course, I went for constellations with more difficult names. If we used constellations like Ara, no one can really complain.

And I pity the man who can't pronounce Columba or Pictor.

I wouldn't mind if other landmarks were named after various stars if the towns are named after constallations...

Sirius Forest, Regulus Ridge, Pollux tunnel etc.

It's too lengthy. We should try to keep the town/city names simple as Jynxo implied. Something like Polaris city sounds better IMO.< Polaris meaning the North Star if you didn't know.(not exactly a constellation but it's cosmic atleast LoL :-D

That's not a bad idea though on being named after plants/flowers, we only have one so far that I can think of and that's MOSSdeep city.

Naming them after flowers and plants is a good idea, but what about naming them after car makes and models. eg. Dodge City or Holden Town?
