Well it's here... Just going to try to rally some support for her in the new game.

That's about it... Krystal standing on the Great Fox...

Spoiler: The things I don't like about it

Well seeing as I don't like to completly spoil your thoughts about it before you look... I know the hair is flat and the shading is weak on the Great Fox, but not much I can do about it at this point. I dislike how I shaded some other things too, but I'm just becoming more and more pickier.

I like the shading and colors, the face looks fantastic and the body doesn't look that bad at all! Great job! I hope to see more from you, keep up the excellent work!

The entire thing took me around a good 30 hours to do, so don't expect too much from me that quickly, heh.

Overall, I really like it! The close-up in your sig shows how well it's really shaded, and all the flecks in the eyes look so pretty. :3 The elbows could be bent at a bit of a sharper angle- they look a little too rounded- and the hands could be a little bigger, but they're minor nitpicks. Also, if around the markings, you fiddled with the smudge/smear tool (assuming you're using Photoshop), you can get a more furry texture.

Anyway, it's super pretty.

I don't use Photoshop, I use GIMP. Photoshop is a few hundred out of my price range, GIMP is much more price effective since it's free. Nitpicky people have made me better at art, thank ye for the critique.

The thought of Krystal being in SSBB just makes me want to jump about and scream with joy.

Anyway, it's alright. The shading is nice, but it's not done well. You don't have a set light source, and seemed to have shaded where you felt like it. The result is an extremely flat, 2D drawing which pokes out in certain places, and it looks quite strange. Connected to that is the fact that the entire outline is black. Unless no light is hitting her outline at all, which would mean we couldn't see her, or something like that, her outline should be variations of darker shades of the color that they're outlining. Otherwise, it just adds to the 2D-ness of the picture.

I also have to wonder why she seems mid-blink. Just looking even at the snippet in your sig, she either has some insane lazy eye or is about to fall asleep. The Great Fox would not be a good place to do that, methinks.

And yesh, Krystal would be fun in SSB. So would Tricky, if you ask me...

Kystal is one of my top four picks for the game. Two of which are already in.
If you look at her she always has that weird calm look in her eyes.
Let me just tell you this project was a big step forward for me.

I still proclaim myself a newbie, but I enjoy the harder crits, thank you.
