Some may see this as a Pro as I'm highly excited about the new SSB(R). It's like calling Halo 3 a pro/con, who just can't judge games like that.DJ-Will said:Revolution Cons:

Yes, actually we do know. Sony and Microsoft are withdrawing from their misc. electronics department to pay for PS3 and XBOX360 production, and they are losing money for each. Nintendo does not have a misc. electronics department. Sotaru Iwata himself said that the Revolution wouldn't have to horsepower of the two other consoles. We KNOW.Shiny Charizard said:You do not know revolution will be the weakest, heck it could be the most powerful.

Continuing franchises is a double-edged sword. On one hand you have games featuring the same characters you know and love. On the other hand, you have what some players are saying: the franchises are getting old and people don't want to play the same games over and over again for 20 years. I mean look at the current Megaman series. People are tired of beating 8 Mavericks and then going through fortress stages in the X and Zero series, and most have stopped playing at Battle Network 2 because the sequels don't really offer anything new.

Yes but if you do change the overall gameplay of a title with each new release then people do keep coming back, Nintendo have already stated that "Twilight Princess" will be the last Zelda in this current format, thus the next one should change the gameplay elements. This means that it would appear to a fresh new game, but with characters we all know and love.DJ-Will said:Continuing franchises is a double-edged sword.
