I wanted Ash's Turtwig to evolve into Torterra too - it's my favorate of the 3 Sinnoh starters, but then Paul revealed his Torterra and I knew it wouldn't happen. Still, it's not like Torterra hasn't had much screen-time. There's Paul's, Maury's and I wouldn't be surprised if another one appeared before the end of the DP Saga.

lol @ everyone being convinced that Soul is a coordinator.
I will stand by my 'Pokethlete' theory until proven otherwise.

Soul:
-Totodile: Power--will increase upon evolution.
-Chikorita: Stamina--will gain more endurance upon evolution.
-Furret: Speed--fully evolved, can be pretty dang fast by anime standards.
-Igglybuff: Jump--gets bouncier as it evolves.
-Marill: Technique--her starter or main athlete.

Well, technically, Snorlax is a Johto Period Pokémon, even if it is from Kanto, and it's probably the best Pokémon Ash has.

The way they split up all the evolutionary stages of the Sinnoh starters amoung the maoin characters (except Infernape which will probably belong to Ash eventually) I'd like to see them split up the evolutionary stages of the Johto starters amoung them. Now that May's Bulbasaur and Squirtle evolved they've effectively given each Kanto starter to a main character at one point or another as well. As for Hoenn..only Swampert is left out, unless you count Morrison as a main character

Snubbull - I was going to give this to Zoey but Soul can have it now
Ledian - A few people seem to like the idea
Marill - Suits her look wise
Flaffy - i love Ampharos and i think flaffy will suit her

That's true she could be but appearing a good bit before the GF seems to indicate that she's going to be around for a while longer and that already differs her from Solidad

I agree with her having all pokemon from one region though because i can definitely see her with all johto pokemon

I just hope Soul is handled better than Casey! I had so much high hopes for Casey. She could've been huge. Meganium, Pidgeot, Raticate, Electabuzz. You never know?

I'll take it that you're just speculating that she could have owned pidgeot and raticate because she never had a pidgey or a rattata in any of her episodes?

They were with her in her debut. Ash's Charizard OHKOed them.


But this is Johto we're talking about..I was expecting Ash's team to look like this at the end of the saga back when Ash was still in Goldenrod City:
