pikachu - duh
mijumaru - evolves before the 4th gym
pokabu - evolves between 5th and 6th gym, or if its short between those gyms, then before the 7th
tsutarja - evolves after 7th or 8th gym
hatooba - evolves right before the bird gym, or during the battle
(dnt knw the names for the rest so)
the bug - evolves after the 5th gym
scraggy? The lizard? - stays the same

meguruco - becomes this seasons jiggplypuff, (i miss jigglypuff ) or satoshi captures it around the ground gym
and two more pokemon but i cant predict them

Who says that Flygon won't get another evolution? I mean, they gave already good Pokemon, prior to the 4th generation, evolutions. (Like Rhydon, Dusclops etc), so why not just give Flygon another evolution, or maybe even a split evolution. Like this:

Tranpich > Vibrava > 6th evolution

Okey, maybe it doesn't seem likely that he will get Flygon, but if Rhydon and Dusclops can get evolutions, even though they were quite good prior to the 4th gen, I'm still believing.

Unless Gamefreak introduces a Pokemon that can evolve three times in a row, I'm sorry but the only hope you're going to get is a split evolution (in terms of evolution).

After all Duskull and Rhyhorn only evolved once, so Rhyperior and Dusknoir make sense.

Edit: If Ash does get a Hoenn Pokemon for possible remakes, the species it would be would depend largely at the time he gets it. If he gets it in the beginning (of the filler Saga) it could very well be anything. If he gets it at the end like Aipom, expect a similar story (minus the trade and release) so that would narrow the Pokemon down quite a bit.

Well I didn't necessary mean that he had to catch it as a Flygon lol he could catch it as a Trapinch or Vibrava.

Also I would like him to either get a Ralts or that cute Spoink if he goes back to Hoenn that is.

I've thought of something.

If they were going to really show the gender differences, wouldn't both Trip's and Ash's Tranquill evolve at the exact same time?

I mean this is assuming that's the reason for why they are "opposite" genders, is so they can show off the gender differences.

So won't it be likely they evolve at the same, similar to how both Jessie's and May's Wurmple turned out (evolving at the same time but into two different Pokemon).

Otherwise even if they opposite genders, is there any point to Trip's evolving first just because he had it longer, and then Ash's evolves whenever long after?

To me it would make far more sense that they evolve at the same time.

I will put Aron in the Ash group too. When I see Steven have one, it was a Pokemon I wanted Ash to catch. If Ash catch one, that will be his first rock type and first steel type.

I'm up for Roselia on Cilan and the rest. Give Iris Treecko and Cilan Torchic and have ash battle the battle subway with old pokemon and we've got ourselves a good filler saga.

ash could get a slakoth and visit norman? Then wed have a running gag of ash trying to get slakoth not to be lazy, then it evolves to vigoroth and we might have some episode like bulbasaur and piplup, would it ebolve, be lazy and ash not use it, or stay the same to keep ash happy, i can see that happening

Only, Morrison had one, so you can't say many of his rivals, but anyway if Ash gets a Pokemon or a couple of Pokemon from Hoenn, I think, Spheal, Spoink/Grumpig and Slakoth could be good options and some options for Iris could be Altaria, Treeko or Surskit. And for Cilan, Poochyena, Roselia or Tropius could be good choices as well.

True, but that still doesn't mean that there were many of rivals with a member of the Beldum line it's party. Plus Tyson battled Ash once and he was hardly even a rival, unlike Ash's other Rivals, even Morrison was more of a rivall and I don't think Ash having a Samurott means that he can't have a Spheal but I'd prefer it if he caught a Grumpig over a Spoink anyway.

Techically more than one rival with the Beldum line means "many" but not as in lots. As in more than one, so he was technically correct but whatever, it's not important.

I don't see Ash catching any old Pokemon in the probable filler saga, just spending time rotating time between his Unova lot and hopefully a few reserves.

You know, I think I agree with you. Personally I would rather have Ash only worry about 5th gen Pokemon or the old gen Pokemon he already has over any new 3rd gen Pokemon.

I mean for:

1. There are many 5th gen Pokemon I can see Ash with, and it would be nice if not by the Unova league, but by the end of 5th gen if everything was nearly fully evolved.

So I think Ash should catch two or three more Pokemon, maybe one, that doesn't get a lot of Unova league time, and he trains that one in the Filler Saga.

Or:

2. Ash brings back Gible, and either it evolves once, or fully evolves. There are other options like Totodile that could probably work, but I would like Ash to finish evolving the starters by the end of 5th gen. This is of course assuming that they've all at least evolved once by the Unova League. If one remains basic, well then I guess Ash will never have 3 fully evolved starters of one generation.

I say Aron because of how many times in Sinnoh has the Aron family in? The Beldum family had an episode of itself because of the Shiny Metagross. All the Aron family had was in the Iron Island special, and not the main PotD of the special.
