Most of us wish that would happen.... Unforunately it's extremely unlikely to happen.

It wouldn't bother me at all to be honest. I've never found Dewott or Samurott to be all-that interesting anyway, so it's not like I'm going to cry if Ash never gets to own one. And hey, at least they get to appear in the anime; poor Porygon2 and Porygon-Z never stood a chance.

You should be bothered, I get Daikenki, he's ugly and ackwardly designed, but Futachimaru is everything that is great about Mijumaru, and his design improves and is the next logical step up.

Most likely, I will be some sort of displeased.
You should be bothered, I get Daikenki, he's ugly and ackwardly designed, but Futachimaru is everything that is great about Mijumaru, and his design improves and is the next logical step up.

Definitely, same with Emboar with Bianca. With the way both of them are losing most of the time combined, it would be very unfortunate and annoying if that's the only way Dewott, Samurott, and possibly Emboar in the future (after the tournament) will be shown.

Mainly the reason why I think Ash should have them as well, to give them better showing on-air the rest of the saga.

I always felt that the starters, with the exception of the Johto trio (so far), got special treatment. Out of the nine stages of the starters of the Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh region all of them except Swampert and Ivysaur have belonged to a main character. Ivysaur belonged to May at one point but we never actually saw it and Swampert belonged to Morrison but that was extremely dissatisfying. If Burgundy's the only one to own Dewott/Samurott their treatment will be similar to Swampert's.

They seem to be making a bit of progress with the Johto trio as well... So far only Typhlosion, Croconaw, and Feraligatr are absent. Croconaw belonged to Khoury but, again, that's not great...

At least Emboar is getting two wins in the tournament and had a pretty close match against Pikachu and Zebstrika. It was also confirmed to have taken down two gym leaders singlehandedly. That's not terrible. So far Burgundy's Dewott's appearances have been few and far between and its losing to a pokemon it has an advantage against both times. If Ash's Pignite never evolves again Emboar won't feel as cheated as Dewott and Samurott would if Burgundy is all the representation they get.

Only way that'll happen is if B2W2 introduces 8 new gyms, and Ash keeps his roster and rotation going.

this is what i want that is why i called it a dream team, but you are right there would have to be 8 bew gyms for this to happen but a guy can drea an't he

I honestly just see Servine and Pignite for Ash for now. Emboar is being showcased nicely by Bianca so there's no rush for Pignite to evolve, and Trip is definitely going to showcase Serperior.

Samurott with Ash would be great. Perhaps Oshawott could evolve like right after Icirrus City, and Dewott evolves in a league match. It would be Ash's second poekmon to evolve in the league with the only one being Kingler. (Cyndaquil evolved prior the league starting)

I doubt all of his pokemon are going to evolve, he always seems to have a few base guys around and Snivy and Oshawott certaintly fit the bill along with Scraggy.

Hopefully after we see what Bianca's Emboar does in this upcoming tournament the writers will difference it from Ash's potential one moveset wise (well other than Flamethrower and possibly Flame Charge as those seem to be standard issue for the Tepig line.), Scald on that thing would be worth it.

Pikachu - Done, probably won't DEM this league
Dewott - Give it a boost in power and a reliable league choice
Pignite - Evolving soon, will be a solid battler
Servine - Hope this thing drops attract when it evolves, hopefully gets a lot of wins too
Scraggy - Starting to come good now and actually battle, hopefully gets at least 1 win in the league
Leavanny - Evolving soon, hoping it will be pretty beast.
Palpitoad - I hate the look of Seismitoad in the anime so I hope it stays as is, although it could probably use an evolution.
Boldore - Powerhouse already, plus I am warming to it way more than I thought I would.
Krokorok - Good range of attacks, I reckon it will be the league powerhouse this time.
Heatmor - Late capture, can be as powerful as the writers want as it is doesn't evolve.

This gives Ash a set of F/W/G single types and multi-types as Well as 2 full battle teams if Pika is included in both.

how come no one ever considers Larvesta as a possible second fire choice for Ash? it's always Litwic or Heatmor-- not that he needs a second fire pokemon.

Please don't say it's due to overlapping types, Krok's capture pretty much destroyed that when it got caught.

Blast Burn would be a cool and unique attack for Emboar to have. I don't think it's even been shown in the Anime yet, and what a perfect oppertunity than with Ash's potential Emboar.

considering that Venusaur and Blastoise respectively debuted the other two EHB's i'd prefer if Ash's Charizard, or a Charizard in general is the one to debut Blast Burn, assuming we ever get to see it...dunno why the writers are scared to unleash it though, heck I want to know how those moves are even learned in the anime for that matter.

If Ash has to catch one more pokemon i'd prefer it to be either the spinning ice thing who's name eludes me or Druddigon (to heck with Iris.) after all it would be nice to see Ash use a dragon pokemon that's not being used for the sole purpose of premoting a specialty move--; because looking back that's all Gible was, a plug for showcasing Draco Meteor, never really having it's dragon like nature expanded on.

Dude, if anyone should debut Blast Burn, its probably Ash's Charizard.

Blast Burn is probably saved when Ash becomes a very skilled trainer.

Larvesta is part bug type. Ash doesn't need another bug type. That's a reason.
Luke has a Larvesta too. Alder is supposed to have Volcarona (Well in the games anyway..)
Litwick is part ghost type which Ash has not obtained making it a better choice, Heatmor is pure fire and doesn't evolve making it an ok choice too, and Darmanitan is part Psychic type in zen form, but the time for it has most likely passed.
A point for Larvesta though is it takes ages to evolve. Now that could be like a stand alone pokemon, that could evolve in a potential filler.
But I doubt Ash is getting a fire type at all, and if he ever would, I would hope it's Darmanitan Zen Form to give him a psychic type.

i've considered it once as I like the line But I have a hard time picturing ash and luke both having Larvesta and Leavanny
