I want Ash to get Meloletta. I mean we have seen people get legendaries before so I think it could work. Cilan maybe could get miltank. Idk it just seems it would be a fit for him with his odd pokemon.

The only people seen with legendaries more than once were Tobias and the inspector Nurse Joy, no main character has ever had one.

@Dmerle- you know in the anime they never mention Hidden Power's type right? Nice prediction btw, I'm just really doubting the movesets(except Dewott's and Krookodile's)

I did know about the Hidden Power it just never occurred to me when making this prediction. >.>

and yeah the movesets are not really the sort of thing I expect from the anime, it's just a wish-list basically, I didn't try and make it too far-fetched, but if we even get the evolutions alone I'll be happy.

Norman had a friendship with Articuno and so did the little boy with the Lugia in Johto. Plus Brandon had the Regis plus there as someone else who I can't remember the name of

Oh, forgot about them.

I just don't think Ash catching Meloetta is going to happen. IMO it would make him seem overpowered. I think it'll just travel with them until after the TR plot, where it'll leave them.

Agreed. :) I also wonder if shots of Pokémon like Eevee, Riolu, and such were hints to what new captures may come. I could see Ash maybe catching a Riolu, since I'd imagined him with Riolu since Diamond & Pearl!

I never understand the move sets people slap on character's Pokemon here. Most are so out of left field and make little sense. Most just come down to "I think it would be really cool if 'X' had this move"

The writers (And I can't believe the words are coming out of my own mouth) actually do a good job of upgrading moves when they have to. They don't totally revamp a Pokemon's moveset, just give it the little boosts that they need.

They do have a feel for what type of moves Ash's Pokemon would use in terms of his battle style and they think in terms of how far along Ash is in his current journey.

What if cilan catches a timburr evolves it to gurdurr and then ash and cilan trade and trade back giving them both powerful pokemon

My only question is . . . WHERE'S OSHAWOTT?!?!?

Seriously, using Snivy and Timburr over Oshawott? Or even Pansage, for that matter? That's just weird. One does have to wonder if that Timburr is significant. Probably not, but you never know.

Oshawott and Pansage are obviously evolving in the near future, the hint are here!! They have been missing for some merchandise lately.

I doubt it's Best Wishes related & Oshawott and others is probably on another page...

I wanted to see Ash's starters from each generation so far.

Kanto Starters

Looks so awkward, Bulbasaur decided not to fall to peer pressure and not evolve at that moment. So technically it could still evolve later when it wants to.
Squirtle, I don't see evolving unless the whole Squirtle FireSquad evolves as well.

Johto Starters

Back in Johto it was even worse than the Kanto starters. His whole Johto team was treated horribly. Cyndaquil didn't evolve until hundreds of episodes later. Some peopel even want Totodile to return to evolve like Cyndaquil did.

Hoenn Starter

Nothing really to say...

Sinnoh Starters

Torterra was treated horribly while Infernape was glorified.
Paul's Main Starter was Torterra
Ash's was Infernape
Barry's was Empoleon.
Trio formed.

Unova Starters
Current:

Looks very Johto-ish and that's horrible.
Trip showcases Serperior
Bianca showcases Emboar
so why can't Ash showcase Samurott?
Form a trio again and mimic BW trio. (Replacing Trip with Cheren and Ash with Hilbert.)
Snivy has been hit and miss, so for her its unpredictable, but I can't honestly see a Snivy and Serperior rivalry. It wouldn't be taken seriously. I mean it got mauled by Servine, so I don't see how it would beat a Serperior as a Snivy.
So what I hope:


Basically mirror's Sinnoh's starter evolutions.

Evolution 1: Turtwig > Grotle | Tepig > Pignite
Evolution 2: Chimchar > Monferno | Oshawott > Dewott
Evolution 3: Grotle > Torterra | Snivy > Servine
Evolution 4: Monferno > Infernape | Dewott > Samurott [Main Starter]

I wouldn't believe that as a hint, as it contains the whole line, not just a single. The August merchandise had Scrafty Fraxure and Emboar without the rest of their lines which was quite interesting...
Also doesn't that merchandise contain Rayquaza? When is that gonna show up 0_o
