• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

There are a few big things like Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodger’s free agency and the Commanders getting sold, but they’ve just been in limbo.

Rodgers will likely go to the Jets, but who knows about Jackson.

Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers both want to be traded from their teams but neither team is actively doing anything, only the players are.

Commanders being sold is, quite honestly, a long time coming as the Snyder family is not very respected among the other 31 teams.

The Raiders had a good draft as well. Focused mainly on the defensive side of the ball and who knows they may have found their QB of the future in Adrian O'Connell.

Ravens had a pretty good (but not great) draft, but I think they've had a great offseason overall. They've desperately needed to revamp this passing attack and I think they've done it with a combination of replacing Greg Roman with Todd Monken at OC, signing OBJ, and drafting Zay Flowers, and they managed to lock up Lamar after all of that drama. No more excuses for them not to have a competent passing offense, feels like the pieces are in place.

I'm surprised no one has talked about the NFL Draft. The Lions had a great draft I think.
I really only followed the Vikings draft but did look up what the rest of the NFC North did. I have no idea what the Packers were doing since I saw they took TEs in back to back rounds but their overall roster looks underwhelming. The Bears look like they got better overall but I feel like they won’t be able to take the next step quite yet.

That brings me to the Lions and Vikings. The Lions added what appears to be Goff’s successor in Hendon Hooker and also added key players but I feel like the took a RB a little too early. And I’m happy to see the Vikings took 6 quality players instead of loading up on 10-15 players hoping for the best. The Vikings have two intriguing UDFA in Ivan Pace and Andre Carter who look to be making the 53 roster. I think the North is gonna be a fight between the Lions and Vikings with both teams getting at least 10 wins this year.

The Vikings see something in Carter to give him a big financial commitment.
I read that there was a bidding war and he felt that the Vikings would be his best chance at making a 53-person roster. Every year teams find diamonds in the UDFA pool. For the Vikings the names John Randle and Adam Thielen come to mind.

If true good for him and I hope he makes the team.

Wow, the Giants got destroyed.

Well, in the College Football world things are bad at Michigan State once again. Head Coach Mel Tucker has been suspended indefinitely for sexual harassment. I feel bad for the fans and students that have to see black eye after black eye on this University. The whole Larry Nassar thing was bad enough.
