Nickelback vs 3 Doors Down, which is the better band?

Okay to me, both groups have a long way. Both I feel were underrated when they first came out, but now their success is unimaginable.

However, not all people feel this way. Many feel Nickelback has sold out, and that their rock music was really rock back in the late 90s. IMO, Curb was an awesome album, but so was All the Right Reasons and for me Dark Horse was okay. How You Remind me, Someday,Do This Anymore, and Chad's collaboration for Hero made me love this group.

3 Doors Down, which I also love, is a very good group. ,Here Without You, When I'm Gone made me love them, so did Loser, and also Away From the Sun. I did enjoy It's Not My Time, but I love Let Me Be Myself a whole lot better. Many like they're new style better, this is from what I've seen on some Rock Fan Message Boards.

So, with that said, what do you feel about these two groups and their songs, and do you think they've changed for the better, worse, or both.

Oh and I had to choose, I'd pick Nickelback, primarily because Chad's voice is very mezerizing and relaxing, and I'm a straight male, yet I do think Chad is amazing, and so is his brother and the whole other band. However, Dark Horse, IMO, is not their best work.

Feel free to discuss other bands in comparison if you feel that those bands are underrated, and these are overexposed.

Nickelback, no question. Then again, it's one of my favorite bands, so. Three Doors Down is still a good band, but I like Nickelback's music more in general.

Wow, i love both of them and they're in similar ranks in my fav. list. Kryptonite is gold but 3 Doors Down has more songs. I love Nickelback's 'Burn it to the Ground' and 'Far Away' but thats about it.

They're both similar imo

3 Doors Down is so much better! Nickelback is terrible! His voice sounds exactly the same for all of their songs. Why would anyone even like Nickelback? Seriously, I want to know why you like Nickelback.

Nickelback is horrible, while I really have nothing against 3 Doors Down, so I'd go with them.

I should find some 3DD songs, since I've been told they are very similar...and I like Nickleback...

I'd have to say that both are equally awesome! Both are in my Top 3 Bands (along with Daughtry) and I couldn'y pick between them, 3 Doors Down have more substance in their lyrics, but Nickelbck ahve more catchy songs. But recently Nickelback have seamed to sell out... So 3 Doors Down might just have the edge. But they are both awesome in my mind.

3 Doors Down, no question. Nickelback's songs all sound basically the same, while 3DD actually has some variety.

I like both of them. I can't really choose between them. They're both good in my opinion. But Nickleback has more songs that appeal to me.
