Nicknames?

[Aviano]

Well, I began training my Exeggute today, and realised I had called it "Fegg." I get the egg, but not the F. I thought is was a really strange nickname - I think it was because I caught it by accident in Safari Zone.

Fegg is the best nickname ever for an exeggute. I hope you will forever stay innocent enough to not understand it.

Eh, I generally don't nickname my Pokemon. I do for some though, and I usually forget why. Yesterday I noticed that I named my Dustox and Beutifly Est and Ich, and it still confuses me.

I sometimes name my pokemon, but usually all I do it put it in lowercase instead of it being at all default. Sometimes, I may give it's japanese name. Or I can give it a name that suits it.

I used to nickname all of my Pokemon, but I had too much Pokemon owned by other people. So I couldn't. But I my Crocanaw's name used to be Mac.

When I was little I named 2 poor oddishes New and Hampshr. I thought that New Hampshire's name was hilariously funny for some odd reason, no offense to New Hampshirhians.(sp?) At Nintendo's World I found a wurmple in their try-them games that you play for 5 minutes that I named jalalala, while my favorite nickname must be Cezanne. It was my 1st lv.100 pokemon, a dewgong in Blue, and I renamed a Dewgong it in D/P.

I nickname all the pokemon in my party ALWAYS. It bugs me when people don't give them names. I don't call my cat CAT, so I'm not gonna call my skitty SKITTY. The only ones I never nickname are the legendaries (except to lower-case their names - LATIOS to Latios, MEWTWO to Mewtwo, etc).

I have taken to naming any pokemon I train, though I didn't name my in-game party(except for Lucario). Otherwise if something seems to fit, I just name it. I also like/try to give them Name-names. I'm sick of seeing every other Pikachu named Sparky.-_- Or for that matter how everyone names their cats/dogs Fluffy. I mean How'd you like it if your name was just whatever your hair color was or something.
