Night Shade or SToss?

I was just wondering, in general, which is better? the only real difference is that one hits ghosts and not normals, and the other is the reverse. which is usually more useful, and in particular which should i put on endendeavor smeargle and my dusclops?

I would use seismic toss because normal Pokemon are more common because Gengar is the OU ghost Pokemon and the OU normal Pokemon are big threats like Blissey ( Which it wouldn't matter), Tauros, and Slaking. You should use the move depending on the situation with this question, "Who is more of a threat, Normal or Ghost?"

deoxys, dusclops, gengar, sableye and smeargle can all learn both.

so, which should go on my endeavoring smeargle? i can't really see which would help more. i'm kinda leaning towards SToss, though, just to make sure it can finish the job it starts with normal-types. but Night Shade is tempting too, so that it isn't helpless against ghosts.

Use Dragon Rage.

After the endeavor, the opponent will have 16 or less hp which is enough for dragon rage to kill as it hits every type. ._________________.
