Gotta say it looks awesome. It looks real and judging by Nintendo, they'd probably make a new DS a short time after the release of the original. I'd even consider buying it because of the foldable option and the joystick.

So it's a fake? Aww, I wanted one, looked cool. How did you find out it was fake?

It looks good, but if it is real I won't buy one, theres no point IMO. Why they do this I do not know, its more pointless than a smaller PS1/2, I really don't get why they make them. I guess I could understand about the GBASP because the screen was too dark originally, but the Micro was and is not needed.

Now I see why it's fake: Look at the pictures of it playing Animal crossing and Yoshi Falls from Mario Kart DS. Notice no '2' by the 'Nintendo DS' sign?

;227; Too bad it isn't real... it looks really convincing. Maybe Tendy should make it. The only thing is that there are only two visibles add ons: The joystick and folding. Maybe it has more accurate voice recognition.
Please Tendy make it real!

It's just fan art athough it's quite nice. However, it looks too... clunky. As in it's too thick. If the actual body of the DS is thinner than the original, it'll be fine. Also, wheres the sound?

Its fake? Too bad it looked great. Something told me it was a fake, but the design looked like Nintendo's because it was very unique. Hopefully, Nintendo will make something like this someday.

Ok, just to clear stuff up, this is why it's fake.

1) It's got "by Yannis Bolman". Nintendo would never put the designers name on an advert, which this is obviosly trying to be.

2) The top picture feature the DS2 with a Mario Kart DS screens on it, they're from the prototype as, on the bottom screen, the names of the racers are written. In the game, they're not.

3) At the bottom it says "2004-2005 Nintendo". If this were a true new DS, it would just say "2006" as this is when it would've been released. Nitendo always starts the copyright on the year the system was released.

4) Finally, it says it's "Nintendo DS 2" however, a DS 2 would play DS 2 games, not DS games on the advert. If it's an "update" (GBA > GBA SP) of the DS, it would not be DS 2 but just "DS Pocket" (just for example)

Therefore, this proves it is not real.

The reason I mentioned with lack of the '2' added onto the Nintendo DS sign in the middle picture helps the theory. Looks great though.

I know, I still wish Nintendo'd make it and make a decent discount if we trade in our original DS.

That looks really good, it would be a good redesign for the DS. I don't think they will add an analog stick though, I think the controls and buttons would be the same as the first DS.
