Nintendo DS Lite or PSP?

[AceAussie]

Awaiting October.
If you can't find RPGs on the PSP, the RPGs on the DS are non-existent. How's that for an analogy? :x

Honestly though, you see, Burnout has a unique concept. You can crash into things deliberately and still get win for it. Heck, one of the modes involves crashing in order to deal the most amount of carnage possible. How is that not cool?

i know of three or so RPG's for the DS
anyway Burnout sounds fun i must try it..

There are more than, most people look at and don't even assume it's an RPG, like Harvest Moon for instance, without violence people don't think it's an RPG, they're wrong as hell! >.<

That essentially makes all the AVG sim-date games on PSP RPGs on your logic, as they base on stat-gaining and answering questions and using your brain, as with most RPGs. Barely any violence involved in those either. ;P

Both. PSP have more games, but NDS have Pokemon :p
Because having Pokemon Dash as the first Pokemon DS game is something to be proud of. :(

Yeah, no. Should also be noted that while PSP has more PSP games, that doesn't mean a majority of them are any good. That and the DS not only has its own line of games, but also the entire GBA library. DS wins at being able to play more games.

As for the racing genre, only Nintendo's made them fun. Just about anything else usually involves real cars and "souping" them up. BORING. With Mario Kart, not only are you trying to finish three laps in first place, but the competitiveness of taking out other drivers with items to get into first place is what also makes it fun. F-Zero is also fun as hell for its tracks and speed.

Yes, F-Zero is hellishly cool. I don't like Mario Kart DS for some reason, but that's just me, so in the end it IS down to personal preference. I end up wanting more games for the PSP when I have a DS o_o;;;;

Dude... you're in a Pokémon forum... if you want Pokémon games... get a ds...

Actually, I think the PSP is more expensive, so you could get a PSP, return it, get a ds, and have 50-100 extra dollars. ;)

Nuh-uh, you can play roms on a PSP as long as it's 1.5 firmware and below (so you can play Pokemon on a PSP). :F

Besides, the PSP has RIIIIIIIIIIDGE RAAAAAAAACER! :p

Oh, and did I mention it also has DJMax Portable? DJMAX PORTABLE, PEOPLE. THE BEST FRIGGIN' GAME ON THE PSP. :O

So, you're saying he should shell out $200+ just for one game? Real great logic here.

Goddammit.

Nobody has a sense of humor anymore. >:\

..Uh, wouldn't it make more logical sense to just straight up buy the DS?

You're basically keeping the extra money that may have been included with the purchase of the PSP. Not getting free money that wasn't there.

Oh yes, the DS also has more colors compared to the PSP. DS games offers more replay value in such that you can use its Wi-fi capabilities to play with friends around the world while as for the PSP, you have to look around for friends with a PSP in your neighbourhood.

that is kind of dumb if he had that money which he probably does why doesn't he just get a DS and two games right away..plus of you buy a PSP their is a chance you won't et the same amount of money back..
