Nintendo DS Trade In Value?

Well I'm planning on trading in my DS to raise money for a DS Lite would anyone know what the going trade in value for one is?

Either sell it to one of your mates or sell it to ebay. Do NOT, I reapeat! Do NOT sell your DS to EB games or any other video games retailer as you will be ripped off your money so they can make a profit. Unless of course, NZ shops are just unfair. I am not quite sure as I don't use the american currency. How ever sell it lower than the RRP or else your seller will buy a new one at the shop instead. Unless, of corse, your good at persuading or your seller dosen't know of the DS price. And remember, its okay to streach the truth.

Why would you do it BEFORE the DS Lite is out? Game stores usually offer you the chance to trade in your handheld and a game or two for the recent model.

Do as Elric says, trade it in when the Lite comes out (actually I might do that myself), do not get money for it! You get more for trade in.

Well, if it's a Pink version, sell it on eBay. Those sell far more on eBay than the other colours simply because they usually run out in shops etc. I remember around christmas time, I was in a fit of panic because my sister was despirate for a Pink DS with Nintendogs and you just couldn't get one. Ironically, we ended up with two and ended up making a profit selling it on eBay.

Whoops I guess I should have stated I live in Michigan. As for what EE said I don't think I've ever seen that before. The game store I usually go to is Game Crazy because there Pre_played games are a hella lot cheaper than other stores. Do you get more credit for trading it in with the deal.

I say try trading in your old DS and a few games in at Gamecrazy. According to my sources (Yes, my sources ), Gamestop and EB Games tend to give you a lot less band for your buck so to speak in comparison to Gamecrazy.

Gamestop and EB Games will give you 50$ for it. But you have to have the rechager with it when you give it to them. Totally not worth it.
