Basically what the title states, with your honest opinion, what console you think is superior over the other.

Im going to have to go with the PSP beacuase of it's convienince (I apologize for my crude spelling) and it's a multimedia device. Plus, in my opinion, generates better graphics.

SO vote! Now before the DS molestors hear about this!

The PSP is far from convenient. The games have pretty bad load times for a portable system, the internet browser usually means you'll only use it when your at home (meaning you may just use your normal computer), low battery life, and an unconvenient form of game disc to carry around.

How the hell is that convenient?

DS. I had a PSP at first, and I though the DS was stupid. I started getting addicted to Nintendo and decided to buy a DS. Once I bought it, I never touched my PSP again. PSP has sucky loading times which take forever to play a game. DS has much better games, gameplay is awsome, and it brings a new generation of handheld video gaming.

DS. Its got a TON of better games and can play GBA games on it, oh, And Did I mention it has better games?

Hmmm, I wonder what a Pokemon forum (which is on Nintendo systems) would prefer?

Anyways, neither is that good of a system itself, but DS has the slightly better games at the moment.

By all means I'm no Nintendo fanboy, but I find the DS a dozen tons better.

I prefer the PSP over the DS.... >__> Considering I only own the PSP.
This doesn't count,in order to express your opinion it's best to have tried playing both candidates.

The DS has more originality, excpesily with the games.
DS >>>>>> PSP

At your expense
I personally like playing games on a console, but if I had to choose.......

I would pick the DS; just because I don't find the PSP games as enjoyable as the DS games.

The DS is just better in evry aspect, except (of course) multimedia playing. I wouldn't get a PSP for Music or Movies, the same way I wouldn't get a DS for the Opera browser, but in terms of games, DS kills the PSP with kamikaze forces.

PSP all the way.

I have both and since I got my PSP I barely ever touched the DS....got 15 games for it including PKMN Pearl and still...the thing that I hate the most about it is it's design...even the ds lite...(the one i've got)...the screens are too small....I prefer the PSP and I don't care if you guys bash me cuz It's my opinion and you better respect it.

El oh el. PSP = Playstation Paperweight.

DS won the war against the PSP last year, since no one really uses their PSPs anymore except for porn :/

It's funny, before the two handhelds were released to stores, everyone I talked to were raving about getting the PSP as soon as possible and giving the DS the low judgement. Now, everyone is scrambling to get their hands on one. (Probably because of DP.)

Actually there's a better reason for people to get a DS: ultimately it's cheaper. Think about it:

A DS Lite: $130
A memory stick adaptor: $60~
A 2GB stick: $30~
A computer adaptor for the memory stick: $10~
Every game available for the DS: Priceless

Yeah, the 'accessories' required for the PSP were the reason why I bought my DS in the first place. Plus I was not going to pay $250 just for the thing overall.

The DS. It's cheaper, it has better games, it doesn't take as long to load games, and it's a better size, IMO. The PSP is too expensive, it doesn't have a single game that interests me (that I couldn't get on another system, anyway.), it takes far too long to load a game, and it just seems too big to me.

DS, most definitely, for two reasons:

First of all, the PSP has a total of zero games that interest me in the least. Simple enough. I buy a gaming system to play games on, and if it has no games for me to play, I can't support or favor the system.

Secondly--and this elaborates on point one, sort of--it's touting of being a 'multimedia' system annoys me. I'm a bit of a technological 'gimme gimme'; I have a DVD/VHS player, a CD player, an MP3 player, and a fairly decent (albeit prebuilt) computer with a satisfactory media player and a comfortable and accommodating web browser. I have all my desire mediums covered. I don't need or want to cram all the functions of my perfectly good electronics into a mediocre handheld.

Of course, I haven't owned a PSP, so I'm not going to make judgments on the gameplay. However, I remember when my friend first got her PSP, she *****ed constantly about accidentally ejecting the disk during gameplay. She later traded in her PSP for a DS. :p
