What kinds Nintendo Events for D/P would you like?

Mine would be:
You have to get a ticket called the Guidance Ticket and then go to some sort of dock in the new region, and surf to Gaidansu Island. The island is pretty much a mountain with loads of water, so much that it is coming up to half-way up the tallest mountain (the dock is floating there). You must surf to a waterfall, climb it and dive. You will find a cave. Go in a Rukario will be in there at lv30. The reason it's at lv30 is because it is kinda small for a legendary.
PLEASE COMMENT!

Yes, I think that Nintendo and GameFreak should work together and upgrade the WiFis Capabilities. Maybe you can download the items you need to get them (Less space on game). OR Hold some online thing like Tournament or something.

A nice download event would do nicely for D/P!!! I have been to a couple in my time and had sooooo much fun at the last one, in october, I would happily go to another. Mainly cos the people there are always sooo cool, and are just like you!!

Thats just unlucky.... buy lots of nintendo magazines, etc, cos they always say whats happening soon!!

Not that I care, but there shouldn't be events anymore, so people that think Pokédex completion is worth the effort stop whinning. It'd also be nice for those that have those Special Pokémon among their favorites...

But there will be events. It's reason #1 of Pokémon's success in Japan. If it wasn't for it, it wouldn't have never come to America, or trascend in any way...

Or maybe Nintendo will be smart for once and allow Ticket downloading via Wi-Fi, but ONLY after completing some excruciating quest in the game, such as gathering the 4/more Stars on your Trainer Card. What's wrong with that idea? Nintendo being smart... :(

Yes, lets give nintendo a reason to make another stupid event in another city that not everyone can go to just to get one god damn pokemon that isn;t worth it.

Unless, it actually has the words "Pokemon" on the front, I don't buy it. Since most of My Nintendo Collection is pokemon.

they should have a special ticket (not sure what it could be called) which takes you to all other regions including orange islands and pinken island

Since you're New I'll show you this cool maths problem
Games/=/Anime or Was it Games=/=Anime
Gah, I can't remember; the point is the only things that will be the same as the anime is.
Pokemon.
Gym Leaders.
Main Area Name.

So No, Pinken Island. And No Orange Island.

Would that mean that they wouldn't be exclusive to a certain country?

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I'm with the 'No' on this. I know it's highly unlikely that we'll avoid events that less then half of the fans can get to, but it would be much more...efficient to do things with WiFi. It would further promote it for one, possibly even swaying some non-Pokemon fans to give the game a shot - not for the event prize, per say, but so they could battle people all over the world.

That's right, you'll be able to get them...or that's the idea anyways.

I like the concept of the Nintendo events to get cool stuff or even pokemon.

But the fact that only a handful of Pokemon fans has an easy access to these events because it's only held at, from what i have heard 2 locations in the US, Washingtion and New York.

For all the other pokemon fans who don't live in those cities or even in that region of America can't get access to the Nintendo Events to get those special bonuses(ex. aurora/mystic tickets, old sea map, and altering cave) as those that live there.

So what i'm really hoping that they would have the events online with Diamond/Pearl as a download event. This will give everyone across the US the equal chance to get Mew, Celebi, Dexyos, Lugia and Ho-oh.

NO MORE EVENTS
sorry about that but it really annoys me that i will never be able to get Celebi,Mew,Deoxsy because i live in Australia. They should do like they did in the first gen(Apart from Mew) and have all the legendaries in game that would be much better

The only Goddamn event I'll be going to is the release of a DS action replay. What the hell is the point going out of your way to get a single uber pokemon, that you'll hardly ever use?

I don't think there should be those events. In Animal Crossing DS there is an option to download things into the game. This hasn't been used yet, but it shows the option and is something Nintendo will do in the future. There could be a similar option in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, an option to download those rare Pokemon into the game using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
