We've been getting reports of certain players getting error code 80430 despite being able to connect fine previously. We are aware of the problem and are researching it on our end. We'll keep you informed as we find out more.

It doesn’t seem to be affecting everyone, but if you cannot connect with friends who you used to be able to connect with it could be down to this issue.

We have successfully solved the 80430 error code for MOST people. The phenomena should be almost eradicated. However, some people will continue to experience this problem. We are aware it's still present to a lesser degree and are working on a more complete fix.

Great, fixed for most of us :D

Yeah, it might be the wireless router they use (if they use one). Nintendo's not to blame for everything, you know.

Only most stuff that goes wrong with their consoles. :p

But I've been fine, I don't think I've ever had that error code.

Geese if it offends to the degree people feel the need to post about it I’ll alter the wording. It's not the router people are using Double Dash, I have been testing with friends over the past week. We all have different routers or USBs. As far as we can tell there is no fault on the users behalf.

Evidently this is a wider problem suggesting Nintendo are directly or indirectly responsible. Of course it could be a 3rd party but it is Nintendo’s responsibility to investigate and fix wider issues, as I am sure they will.

I just thought wifi users would be glad to know Nintendo are looking into this issue if they are experiencing problems (as I am).

I dont see how this means that they are responsible for it...

Serebii, go back to March and research Metroid Prime Hunters. It is basically that all over again.

It's probably the brand router, or your play area is obstruecd by a Wi-Fi proof Material (Cement for Instance)

Isn't Nintendo WiFi sponsored by GameSpy? Shouldn't this be up to them to fix? Then again, the service is ran by a computer - and computers get errors.

No it is server errors due to traffic. Do not worry. If it is MPH all-over again, we only have to wait 2 months :D

I think the "Party's Over" causes it.
