Nintendo Lite Question

Hey, my older bro has a problem, which he has asked me to ask you about:

He is thinking of getting a DS Lite for his birthday, but he's been wondering: Is a DS a bit too 'out dated' and will a new hand hold come out shortly after he got it that all of us will get?

I don't think so. A DS Lite is perfect is you want to play good games like New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS, and, most importantly, POKEMON DIAMOND AND PEARL! It's definitely not outdated and probably won't be for another few years. I mean, like, look at the original Nintendo Game Boy. It was released in 1989, but wasn't dead until, like ten years after its release. DS Lite was just released on March in Japan and I'm gonna be getting one too sometime soon, so I think a DS Lite would be good. Also, remind him that te darker DS Lites are very easily smudged.

The next Nintendo handheld won't be coming out for a while. Even if the DS does seem "out dated" (which it definately is not =P), it still has a good selection of games, which will get even better in the future.

The DS is not out dated, and there are loads of great games for it, and loads of great games to be released for it.

New Super Mario Bros. is fun Mario Kart DS online's playing is nice... if you don't encounter cheaters. I'd go for NSMB.

Animal Crossing is a required taste which I wouldn't reckonmend for a first game. Tell him to get it 2nd or 3rd.
