Yeah, I got it too. Chibi Robo is looking awesome!

The thing I was most interested in that issue was Super Monkey Ball Touch and Roll. It could turn out to be a pretty good game, then again, it could not. But I'm sure that it'll have a pretty decent multiplayer mode that's worth buying for, such as the addition of that Monkey Hockey game. The concept is simple, yet ingenious. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out for it. ^^

I ordered my ****ing subscription in December, and they said my first issue is March 2006 (which will come sometime this month)

Woah, you only just got some of them reviews? NOM got reviews for things like Chibi robo last month, and Super Princess Peach last year.

Anyway, a mate of mine is getting a copy when he visits America, it looks great, especially the inside look at Zelda.

6.5/10... that's not good.

Ahh, yeah, this was a pretty good issue. And is it just me, or are the letters getting better every issue? They've been hilarious ever since the redesign. awesome. And a Retro section!!! I remember how that was a major topic of discussion a couple years back in the mag. I'm really glad they finally got around to it. ^_^ And... that contest... MAN that contest... I'm winning it. Not you. Nah. XD

But having been a subscriber for quite a while (seven, almost eight years? Yah!), I'm glad too see it come into its own. Woo, and I hope it just gets better!

What's going on with the Zelda interviews this issue?

All the retailers around here seem to stock new NPs weeks later than they should -_-;

With Twilight Princess coming out, Nintendo Power wants to find out as much as they can, and so do some of their readers.

Well, I'm a Super Monkey Ball fan, so I probably have a different opinion than yours... and yeah, that rating in Nintendo Power IS just the reviewer's opinion. It isn't always truly correct, nor is it always truly wrong. There will always be someone who thinks different of a rating. For example, only Chris gave it a 6.5... Andy argued back and gave it a 7.5 as his own rating. One of the reasons it got a 6.5 from Chris is because it has bad game controls in some modes, but in most of the party games for it, the control is simple and easy to use, such as the control scheme in Monkey Hockey and Monkey Golf, so it's not a total loss. Super Monkey Ball is a series that is based firmly on multiplayer, so if that mode is good, chances are, fans of that series will probably buy it. Especially since it IS the first Super Monkey Ball game on the DS, which allows it to have wireless connectivity. ^^

You know guys...

*Game gets good review*: Awesome! I'm definitely getting it!

*Game gets bad review*: Meh, it's just one person's opinion.

Why do you guys look up reviews if you aren't going to listen either way?

What are you talking about? The purpose of a review is just to see what a game is like and see the reviewer's opinion as well. Just because you read a review doesn't mean you have to agree with it. It is just to give you insight and other people's opinions on the game so that you can compare them with your own.

Can anyone say what the Twilight Princess info is about?

(Still prefer EGM, lol)

Nintendo Power IS just the reviewer's opinion

All 1st party magazines are opinionated and I refuse to buy them.

Anyway, I recieved this issue for free (I'll never buy first party crap, this includes OPM, OXM, and NP) by registering a couple of games on nintendo's website. IMO, it's not the best magazine because it's too centered on propaganda. I also wouldn't trust the reviews because the staff is a load of nintendo junkies. The same goes for OPM and OXM (to their respective platforms). Do yourself a favor and pick-up an EGM. I like them because they are harsh and critic games with a straight face. They also have three people reviewing the games so you get a good opinion. They have helped me choose great games in the past and helped me refine my collection so I don't pick up crap.

Must get issue to get new riders info!

Pick up an EGM.
