So some of the early reports about the N64 Emulator on Switch are pretty negative. There's talk of input delay, online lag, poor button mapping, and faulty textures. I haven't yet tried it out myself as I'm waiting a bit to get it, but if you're on the fence, just be aware.

I'm only considering the extra games if they happen to release games more often than 3 games every 4 months.

I didn't get any of that when I was playing Super Mario 64 last night.

Button mapping is definitely an issue, they've mapped the A, B, and C buttons very oddly. Hopefully that's an easy patch.

Same here. Only Yoshi Story interests me at the moment. When Paper Mario, Kirby 64, Banjo Kazooie, and Pokémon Snap are released then I will get it.

I think Nintendo is listening to the reports regarding the N64 app, and will fix the issues with the next update. The emulator is relatively new, so there's bound to be a few bugs at launch.

I've heard rumors that the price jump was Sega's decision, asking for more money to compensate for the low eShop sales. I honestly don't care much about the expansion pass, but I feel like for just an extra $10, they could have offered N64 games, as well as both Game Boy [Color] and Game Boy Advance games. Even better, they could have thrown a Pokémon Home subscription in for free with the pass. On a sidenote, the Switch (and the other platforms) already has the Sega Genesis Classics, containing 60+ games at a $40 price tag. That game could have been patched with DLC and improvements to input lag or such.

Right now, the service is only good for online play and cloud saving, and what's unfortunate is that we haven't seen any improvement. There are no dedicated servers for online multiplayer games, no voice chat and no messaging. The release schedule for the NES and SNES games is also inconsistent, when they could have settled for 3 games per console per month.

The quarterly financial report is here. And it seems that the Switch is very close to outselling the Wii. Plus Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is now the best-selling Mario Kart game to date.

They need around 15 millions units though ^^;

Shantae and the Seven Sirens will receive a free update with 4 new modes this November 30th.

The thing is, these are mostly modes that give you options to screw the game or play it on an easier difficulty. However, Definitive Mode is supposedly revamped that it changes things a lot.

A new compilation from Bandai Namco is coming to Switch among other systems. It's an enhanced version of the Pac-Man Museum game released in the early 2010's with five additional games: Pac-In-Time, the arcade version of Pac-Man Arrangement, the Pac-Motos and Pac 'n Roll Remix games from the Wii title Namco Museum Remix, and Pac-Man 256.

This is the first time a "Console" GTA game will be released on the Nintendo Switch. This is the PS2 or 3D Trilogy, so unlike the PS3/360 version, hopefully it will be a good conversion. "I'll also have two number 9s, one huge, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large Coke," says the customer.

There are already two GTA games for Nintendo consoles: the GBA version and Chinatown Wars on the DS. The Chinatown Wars is considered part of GTA4 & GTA5/online World owing to some strange occurrences related to the 3d/HD "reset." (Approximately a dozen GTA4 characters appear in GTA5 and reference GTA4 events.)
