Z-A is definitely going to be on Switch 2 so that they can shake off the bad rep from SV's performance.Regarding Xenoblade X: Definitive Edition and Pokemon Legends: Z-A, not sure if they will get minor performance improvements on the Switch 2 compared to the Switch.
It most likely refers to games that required peripherals that could only work with the original Switch's joycons, such as Labo and Ring Fit Adventure. Also, since they're removing the IR sensor on the joycons any game that required that to work can't be used on the Switch 2.Yep. Just wondering which games aren't compatible tho. They mentioned that some aren't.
I thought I saw the sensor right where it should be, at the bottom of the right Joy-Con.It most likely refers to games that required peripherals that could only work with the original Switch's joycons, such as Labo and Ring Fit Adventure. I don't see why they can't. Could even be a selling point, assuming they're not cross-gen.Regarding Xenoblade X: Definitive Edition and Pokemon Legends: Z-A, not sure if they will get minor performance improvements on the Switch 2 compared to the Switch.
Question: Why is Nintendo releasing games like this for the N64 Online service and not ones that players actually want like Diddy Kong’s Racing or Donkey Kong 64?Here's another obscure third-party title from the N64.
Rare red tape.Question: Why is Nintendo releasing games like this for the N64 Online service and not ones that players actually want like Diddy Kong’s Racing or Donkey Kong 64?
Ok. Fair enough but then what about Super Smash Bros? There’s no real reason why it can’t be released on the service.Rare red tape.
Ultimate service pull-in trick card.Ok. Fair enough but then what about Super Smash Bros? There’s no real reason why it can’t be released on the service.

Now why would they do that when Ultimate is backwards compatible with the system?Honestly, I'd rather they port Ultimate to the Switch 2 and initiate a new season pass for the port.

Believe me, if they went with that strategy, we would've gotten an exclusive DLC pack for MK8 Deluxe instead of a new game.Well then an exclusive Switch 2 season pass. Either way, I think it's better to continue Ultimate than spend production costs porting older (and potentially obsolete) games.
Especially Sora.Assuming they can still use the licenses for the third-party characters.
