Welcome to the world of ONM.... ¬_¬
Ive just run back from my news agents. They got NOM in. But now its no longer Nintendo Offical Magazine, its Nintendo, The offical magazine. And I can tell you, its grown up. No more joke articles and jokes, the cover is pure white with Ds, and the inside is as well. Its....WAY more different. Im about to sit and read it now, but its changed drasticly.

But flicking though it, it looks nicer, much like a adult gamer magazine. The change has come guys, and it isnt for the worst.

well, that is because the old NOM team has been replaced, seeing as EMAP didn't want to continue with NOM no more.... so, now it has a more mature feel to it eh?


let's hope these guys love pokemon as much as the NOM team did... or else we are doomed


tis a shame I can't find it anywhere in my local stores tho....

No Pokemon stuff in this issue, but from the looks of it, they don't hate it. ^_^

Just read though it. Man, it has articals. The magazine looks sexy. Its different, but great different. And the Ds decals aint cheap ones either.There is Nintendogs, AC, and MK, as well as Miyamoto-San's sig! And they look good!
To anyone who feared the change, (Like me), it was no need to worry. Its different, but in a fantastic way.

Btw: If you want me to scan the cover in, I will. Its in a slip in case, as well. ^_^

Sounds good, I thought it would be horrible. The only thing I would miss are the jokes. I could laugh at them for hours. It'll still be good though. Hate the name though.

I prefer ONM myself, thats because before it came to be NOM (around 1996) it was called Official Nintendo Magazine, thus ONM, I kinda stuck with it.

Anyways, saw the magazine in shops today and nearly wet myself, it looks very beautiful, anyone know the price? it is still £3 or is it more now?

Why they don't offer Nintendo Power Magazine to Europe doesn't make any sense. But oh well - maybe the magazine has changed for the better - hope its better than NOM.

Well, the cover sucks. I haven't got NOW in a while but I remember the covers being packed with stuff and it was great. I don't know. Maybe it's just because it's a change. But that headline, it doesn't really seem like news, just seems a bit wired. Meh, I'll get it sooner or later.

People, it's a different magazine. It's a new publishing company, and a new team. Nintendo wanted to take the magazine in a new direction.

NOM was slipping, and the writing style was beginning to get very childish. A majority of the 'jokes' weren't funny either. It was beginning to...suck. The letters were awful, always.

This is a much better magazine. It has jokes, but I want my games mags to be games mags. I want to hear about gaming news and stuff, and I want to be told in detail about games in reviews/previews.

Think gamesTM but Nintendo-specific. It's that good.

I have to say that I like the new look. I think that all of the jokes in the articles made it kind of hard to finnd any useful information. I do own the magazine, but I have only skimmed through it so far. I think thast I will read it properly today. I hope that the text makes more sence.

And if you ask me, what a way to get people to suscribe, a free game!!! Metroid Prime 2, Donkey Kong with a set of bongos, of Pikmin 2. I am even think of doing it.
