is it because they like the color or do they just dont like to touch the shinys after they catch them?

All the un-evolved shinies I use to have took some time to evolve. Such as my Wailmer, that didn't evolve until level 40. Others, like Wynaut, were kinda hard to train.

So many? What about those who have 50? Like a buttload...

But to be on topic, some people think they look better, some people don't really want them, and some people just like the un-evolved form better anyway.

I dont like to beg for shinys... its not specail unless you catch it on your own.

I didn't evolve my Magikarp because it would just be another Red Gyarados, and Gold version already has one of those.

I do plan on evolving my Wurmple, though, just as soon as I trade it over to LeafGreen.

I'm not going to evolve my shiny wurmple, for the reason that it'll turn into cascoon, and I really prefer shiny wurmple to shiny cascoon and Dustox.

The only reason I might is that my friend has a shiny dustox the opposite gender of my wurmple, and I'd experiment with breeding the two, but that's all.

The only shinies that I have are two Butterfrees, from my friend (no, he didn't shark them, he just has amazing luck ) If I got them as Caterpies, I'd probably keep one as a Caterpie and one as a Metapod, because of the colour.

The other reason is I would not like it if something like this happened: I decide to evolve my shiny Zigzagoon, then I run into a shiny Linoone. If I had kept it as a Zigzagoon, then I'd have a Zigzagoon and Linoone, but instead I'd have 2 Linoones.

Wow, good answer. i guess you could think of it like that. Id rather have 2 different shinys than 2 of them that are the same.

I always evolve my Shining Pokemon, because I am eager to see what they will look like evolved. I never thought that if I evolved my Shining Pokemon, it wouldn't turn back to normal. I guess that theory didn't make sense to me.
