No "Save anywhere" Function on Ranger

Well I have about 2:00 gametime on the game, and you have to be at a 'Save Pedestal" (that's what I call it) to save. The only other function that I can find (not being able to read Japanese, and all) is a thing that saves your game and turns it off. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but this is what I think.

Makes me wonder why you bought a cross language game.

Well because there's not much reading involved, anyway. Just click away and you can beat the game. (I already have like 4 star... things)
