Nosepass changing abilities

Eh, ragazzo!
Okay, when I was fighting Miror B. without my snag machine, I faced Shadow Nosepass, as usual. I wanted Magnet Pull, so I used Mawile and it was. Then when I finally caught him in Realgam Tower, he was still Lonely like always, but then I got Sturdy. So, I guess it's another glitch in the game, or did the Mawile trick not work, but I thought it did.

What's up with that?

And I really wanted a Magnet Pull Nosepass. :(

Well, at least I got a Magnet Pull Magneton, Modest. :D

first off why would you want magnet pull Nosepass is weak to steel type pokemon. And second off the ability can change as well as gender and well as nature.

I think the nature is always the same as well as gender. And I wanted Magnet Pull because it sounds more signature.

No that if you fail to catch them but nature and gender will change. And as for maget pull well I hope you are not planning to use Nosepass because he is weak and has bad moveset.

Who gives a crap about how strong a Pokemon is? I will use a Pokemon if I like it. Remember Agatha's words.

Not if it keep losing and end fainting and with the ability you wanted Nosepass was going to lose big time.

Read that and you will find out how weak he is and it is KAREN'S word not Agatha.

You just have to keep it's weaknessess in mind, and I meant to put Karen. It has marvelous defenses and the right movepull will surely mean success. I have seen Miror B.'s non Shadow Nosepass do some considerable damage, in all. But I don't think it's a good idea to have a back and forth argument so why don't you PM me instead.

1.) Steel sucks as an offensive type. The only steel attack you'll ever see ANYBODY who knows what he's doing use Meteor Mash, and thats exclusive to Metagross, so Clefable can shove that in it's pipe and smoke it.
2.) Nosepass beats Skarmory hands down. Strike number 2 against the claim that Magnet Pull Nosepass sucks.

blaze boy, it's his opinion. The guy was only asking a question, and you go on and on. Give him a chance. He might want Nosepass with Magnet Pull also because he could put it with a fire type/skill swapper with Levitate.

If you didn't get the right one, but saved, why not train one on a GBA game and trade it over later? Nah, that's a stupid idea actually...

CRAP! I forgot that it was double battle oh what a Stupid boy I am. Well psychic politoed you just saw a human weakness bad memory that change everything because Nosepass can get some help from his team member (How could I forget that it was double battle).

psychic politoed I am sorry. just put it down to bad memory.

There's Doom Desire, and Iron Tail is powerful.

Steel Wing Skarm is just stupid. Skarm's much better off with Drill Peck.

Steel Wing: PP:25, Base Power:70, Accuracy:90, 10% Lower's Defense by one stage

HP Steel Max: PP:15, Base Power:70, Accuracy:100, No effect, limited

I say it's good regardless of its not so good accuracy.

Na, that's okay. There is no need to apoligize. But maybe we should stay on topic of the changing ability. Or maybe not.

A fire type skill swapper with levitate? Exactly what pokémon has that combination?

Well, there's Solrock, who can learn fire abilities. But that's just about it.

Read that post again, carefully. Note the presence of the /.

Yep, that's there alright.

Hurray for paying attention. Way to go us. (j/k)

Anyway, to contribute, I think a Nosepass is really good if you could conceal its weaknesses.
Even if you don't, it can be good in some situations.

DD- Okay, Touche there. CB Jirachi with DD is actually pretty damn decent.

IT- Why the demonchild of Jesus, Buddha, Sephiroth, & Kefka on a stick with BBQ sauce would ANYONE use IT?

SW- SW has absolutely no purpose. Most of the stuff that gets it can use other attacks if they're so afraid of Rock & Ice types (Focus Punch, anyone?)

HP Steel- No, just no.. (well, okay maybe if you're using Mawile in UU, this CAN be good, but its still UU)

Steel sucks as an offensive typing. Steel Wing Skarm is okay, but it's nothing compared to Drill Peck. CB Jirachi and Metagross are pretty much the only two pokemon you'll ever see with an offensive Steel attack (unless you count HP Steel Mawile in UU)
