Considering how the PWC is structured, Bea could be Elite Four/ Regional Champion tier irrespective of whether she's a gym leader or not.
Considering the fact that Volkner was 27th, that definitely would put him at Elite Four-tier considering the fact that there are potentially 23 Elite four Members who could take part in the PWC.

Assuming Bea's rank is probably going to be even better than Volkner, safe to say that she's Elite Four Tier/ (Old Series) Regional Champion Tier.
We're talking about someone with an unknown, but presumably high, level of power vs a dragon that's known to be stronger than Champion-tier Pokémon. I'd still like for its streak to be broken against a stronger opponent, if it is to be broken at all.

She literally said that Haxorus had become her strongest partner, that would suggest that Haxorus did indeed become her ace and is her strongest Pokémon.
Forgot that. My bad.

Doesnt change my original point though. Many ifs and buts and powerscaling with zero sense, because they wanted iris to be closer to her game counter part.

Why they couldnt have made Ash challenge iris closer to the M8 baffles me.

What if the writers decided it was a bad idea to give Sirfetch'd to Ash when he already had a Lucario and write Sirfetch'd off the team by making it get wrecked in this rematch and it/Ash decides it's better off training with Bea who doesn't seem to have a Sirfetch'd in the main show (not spinoffs)?

If you think Gengar's screentime was bad, Super Aura Mega-Lucario is going to make the duck irrelavent with the typing overlap and the fact that it's the weakest on the team. This would also be a good excuse to bring back Infernape permanently. Or do a rotation of reserves that needs to evolve like Gible/Quilava/Snivy.

How dare you?
KEKW. Ash's Sirfetch'd is a Fighting type but uses Dark type moves. If you want a dark type Pokemon, I rather slap Night Slash and Brutal Swing on a Greninja return with a revamped moveset. Or promote the new Switch games with an Infernape return or Quilava evolution. The duck will be Mr. Irrelevant after the Bea saga is finally over.

Lucario kicked the ducks ass as a weeks old baby and shares the same typing while being one of the most popular Pokemon of the franchise. Now it's getting a Mega form and maybe expanding on Ash's Aura power. Gengar is the 2nd weakest because it had to job so battles for the others to come in and shine, but is the only pure SpAtker. Now it gets a Gigantamax form and supposedly to learn Dazzling Gleam. Dragonite is the ace and Pikachu has plot armor and ZMove. Dracovish just took down Iris' Dragonite.

yes Ash definitely won't give his Sirfetch'd to Bea, that would make Ash and Farfetch's little bow totally irrelevant, literally multiple times Farfetch'd went to Ash's rescue, Sirfetch'd considers Ash more than his Trainer. special person for him, in addition, there is no need to give it away, when it is as simple as leaving it in the sakuragi park, and using his "Reserve" in case of using it

DuquÊ?

Too lazy to pick a pic
And took an aegislash’s attack for him. And Ash’s whole ordeal understanding and helping with the leek master thing.

Sirfetch’d wasn’t used against Iris and Volkner, but there’s chance against other characters. Vs Bea is his chance.

That's something else, but first of all, why would they give Ash a Farfetch'd and go to the trouble of building a relationship with Ash until it evolved, so that then Ash ends up giving it away? , If they wanted to do that, they would give Bea a Sirfetch'd from the beginning presented as one of her pokémon, which did not happen

I mean i don’t think ash will give it away, and don’t really care either way anyways. I was just curious about what this ‘rescue ash multiple time’ was.

Ooh, if we're writing fanfic scenarios for this battle, then I've got one with Pikachu sort-of-realistically jobbing.

Sirfetch'd vs Hawlucha: Sirfetch'd wins mid-high diff

Lucario vs Grapploct: Lucario wins mid-diff, low diff if it goes Mega right away

Machamp vs Pikachu: Machamp G-maxes and takes out Pikachu, but get paralyzed from Static

Machamp vs Lucario: M-Lucario manages to make Machamp run out of Dynamax juice, but faints in the process

Sirfetch'd vs Machamp: Sirfetch'd avenges Lucario and Pikachu, and wins the battle for Ash

There you go. Everyone gets to contribute against Machamp, G-Max is properly shown as a threat, Megas get their not-based-on-a-timer advantage, and the duck gets a pair of solid wins.
