Yay i'm so happy. Finally we can speed up SM plot because USUM is coming soon.
I hope they could finish BW2 successfully because depite how good that arc was, it was 3 years since its began and i have a feeling Kusaka-sensei could not keep up with how game are release yearly these days.

Speed up? I think you mean slow down.
SM is already going at a fast pace. A slower pace would be super beneficial for developing characters and whatnot.

With USUM introducing no new player characters, how will the Poplio line be handled? The only Water type specialist in Alola that we know of is Lana and she's kinda insignificant. At least the Delphox line was showcased along side a major character like Malva.
Yup my bad ^__^ i mean SM could get more screentime. This arc and XY was very good. XY has enough chapter to do things right. SM really need a second magazine to develop the character and plot more. We barely saw Lillie enough compare to the game. And i hope Moon could get an equal amount of spotlight like Y had. Y was a huge step up from White and Whitwo (i love these two but they got shafted badly for the main hero (and N)).

Depends on if Lillie's role changes to make her a trainer within USUM's plot (as the preorder setup seems to imply may happen) I suppose. I guess it could also be Hau, he doesn't have a starter yet.

I want to see more on how to present Moon and her skills and Lillie''s background especially these upcoming chapters and I believe that Y has a massive contrast to her anime counterpart, not your typical damsel in distress.
It's confirmed. Moon is from Sinnoh.
She works under Mr. Berlitz and Roseanne (the spoilers don't mention if she herself was a Berlitz), and she came to Alola to look for a certain medicine that will heal a Piplup (which is apparently not related to Platinum's Empoleon).
Buzzwole and Kartana also appear in this chapter.

But quicker release = more fleshed-out plot.
I'm sure that you realize that.
The rarer the new chapters come out, the more rushed the plot become in the end, due to time constraints.
So, a "new" magazine release is an improvement. Not a very "reliable" one, since it is an irregular release, but still better than nothing.
As for the SM's pacing so far, I wouldn't say that it's too fast. It's too uneven in the first place. First, we got that damned Melemele Tournament which took so long and just stopped the plot from developing, and then a sudden fast-forward to Akala. I hope things become more balanced later on.
As for Moon being from Sinnoh, where does that information come from? I dare to say, pics or it didn't happen. Hopefully, pics emerge soon.
I got the spoiler from a thread which posts early leaks of the chapters. No pictures yet, but I'm sure we'll start seeing them by tomorrow.
Edit: Looks like there will be a bonus poster featuring new art to be included in the Pokemon Fan issue.

I wonder if that new poster would look similar to the one we've seen this week. It could be an advertisement for the USUM games.
...The picture shows it's just Sun and Moon with their Pokemon.
I never said anything about slowing down the release schedule.
I said that another magazine would allow them to slow down the action somewhat. This would allow for more character interactions and less plot after plot after plot.

Brief translation of the second half of Chapter 17:
Looker learns from the Magician that Lack-two has been fired by the International Police. It turns out that what the Magician does for Lack-two is all along illegal, and in addition to paying him money, Lack-two shares way to hack into the International Police force computers with the Magician. When the physical monitors of Lack-two went down, the Magician hacked into the I.P computers, and learns that Lack-two has violated the rules by withdrawing a highly dangerous Pokemon (Genesect). In addition, since Genesect was caught with the Shock Drive only, Lack-two requested that the Magician recreate the other types based on the Shock Drive. However, the Magician actually failed to perfect the fire-type drive, and Lack-two snatched it away for use despite knowing that (this explains the 'overload' scene Genesect had on the Frigate). The Magician further reveals that his secret shop has been discovered, which is why he is fleeing. Before departing, he informs Looker that Lack-two's Dewott, Kabutops and Gliscor have fainted at the PWT construction site. There at the PWT construction site, the Shadow Triad also depart to board the Frigate near Humilau.
Meanwhile, at Fennel's lab, the two Junipers learn that more and more cities have been frozen. Cedric Juniper is unable to get in touch with Cheren, Roxie and Marlon, and Bianca starts to cry since she fears Cheren will be lost like Black. Amanita alerts everyone to Fennel, who starts talking about her mythical Dream World again, and mentions her university friend Burnet, the Pro Wrestling lover who investigates dimensions. Fennel has found that when Reshiram reverted back to the Light Stone, it engulfed Black, but apparently the interior of the Light Stone is connected to the Dream World, where she postulates Black survives. Bianca gets hysterical, wanting to know how to get there, and Fennel reveals that it is accessed by the Entralink, where dream energy concentrates. However, someone has actually headed there already, and it is no other than White, who has managed to locate the Light Stone, just as N disembarks from Zekrom...

Nice to see White's Solosis evolved into Duosion, and that the we can be certain Bianca didn't give away her Oshawott. I suppose the reason Lack-two gets fired is sound, and after knowing his underground deeds, I have a feeling he may not get re-hired? I wonder why he has to use the fire type drive out of the many other functional drivers though, maybe because fire beats Kyurem's ice?
Will pick up corocoro ichiban tomorrow.

This way of showing the Dream World is kinda genius ... Props for creativity from the writers but ern, at the same time, it's kinda random too. BW2 was so long ago so i dont remember them that well so maybe that's just me.
