Not too long ago, I had posted my full ingame team (here, here: http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=384034). These are the ones I usually pick for the BT... with a few minor changes:

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
-Sandstream
Adamant
# Stone Edge
# Crunch
# Earthquake
# Fire Fang
Evs: 4 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe

Lead. Been working great so far. Pokes such as Abomasnow and Scizor have been getting on my nerves, and I haven't got much use out of Ice Fang, so I replaced it with Fire Fang, as suggested by Chaotic Tyrant. I'm loving his current spread as outspeeding pokes such as Milotic has proved to be a real blessing. I am however, irritated at how frail he can be sometimes, as a well aimed Brick Break or a STABed Earthquake usually gets the better of him. I'm considering swapping Choice Band for Focus Sash instead...

Skarmory @ Leftovers
-Sturdy
Impish
# Aerial Ace
# Toxic
# Whirwind
# Roost
Evs: 212 Hp/ 44 Atk/ 252 Def

AA renders all attempts at DT hax useless. Toxic + Roost work better than I thought (beautifully, in fact, all that passive damage stack up real quick), and my other pokes can handle those nasty Steels. Whirwind to phaze stat-uppers. Evs are based on his Hp IV to maximize Leftover recovery.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
-Sand Veil
Naughty
# Outrage
# Earthquake
# Fire Blast
# Stone Edge
Evs: 4 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe

My revenge killer, there's not much science involved. SE has been useful in some critical situations.

All suggestions and comments are welcome. That said, rate away!

Tyranitar is a pretty horrible user of Focus Sash. It's base defensive stats are AMAZING AND it gets +1 in special defense due to Sand Stream.

But at the same time, Tyranitar has a lot of weaknesses. So it needs some defense investment so it doesn't get destroyed.

For example, you mention that Scizor has been a problem. With bug being x2, it can't come in on it or the likely steel move it also carries.

Anyway, Tyranitar has two moves that it basically always wants:

Dragon Dance: Boosts it's attack and it's worst stat, speed. You'll find yourself in many situations where you can get 2-4 dragon dances because the AI refuses to switch out.

Curse: Drops it's lowest stat and maximizes it's attack and defense.

That being said, you need to take from the attack and speed stat and think about exactly what threats you want to hit.

After you think about that, spread it across HP, Defense, and Special Defense.

Here's the spread I've been using:

Adamant with Leftovers
Sand Stream
94 HP/20 ATK/252 Defense/48 Special Defense/96 Speed
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

This is so bulky it's not even funny. If you do some math, I think I still had some left over EVs in there too. But what I should have done is invest in more special defense, because it isn't taking Surf and Hydrop Pumps as well as I want it too. After 3 dragon dances, it outruns almost everything that isn't scarfed. It's a highly customizable set, but it's meant to take hits, so at least don't lower the defensive stats.

The other option with this set is to Sub up with it to act as a pseudo OHKO absorber, but you've got Skarmory for that...kind of.

You'll also notice that your AI opponent will eventually start using leads that directly counter your lead. This means Tyranitar will be seeing a lot of Fighting action, so carrying a Ghost to absorb those would be worth considering. Dusknoir is probably your most ideal candidate.

This isn't to say your Choice Band set isn't worth using...but it needs some bulk or else it'll be 2hko by a lot.

-Sand Veil
Naughty/Adamant/Jolly
# Outrage
# Earthquake
# Crunch/Stone Edge/Toxic/Sleep Talk/Fire Fang
# another move from above
Evs: 4 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe

Aerial Ace is highly recommended because of Double Team abusers. (Ignore this due to Skarmory)

Stick Fire Blast on Tyranitar because it has much higher special attack base. You might want to change the nature for it in that case, and without a special attack, Chomp's nature can be changed to Jolly or Adamant.

Crunch, Stone Edge, and Fire Fang are just your standard filler attacks. Fire Fang won't be OHKO much besides Scizor and Abomosnow.

Toxic is to status Pokemon that are annoyingly bulky.

Sleep Talk for a one time use of attack while asleep, which works really well.

Stealth Rock or spikes would really help Skarmory out when whirlwhinding opponents away.

I guess DD Ttar could see some use and is something I will consider alongside a bulkier spread.

Skarm will probably stay stay as is. I don't believe Spikes o Stealth Rock would be of any use either in-game, or the BT. Sticking to Toxic seems more practical to down opponents one by one, considering they rarely ever switch out.

I don't see any reason for change either on Garchomp. I prefer FB over FF due to the higher BP and the fact that the only targets its designated for just happen to have lower Sdef than Def.

Anywho, thanks for the comments. I'll try some of these new things and try them out myself.
