Hm? You fight him at the post-game of B/W as the champion, and once at the post-game of B2/W2 as a regular trainer and several times as a contender in the PWT Champion's Tournament.
I just don't like him coz he's really bland.

Oh, I agree he is kinda bland, but Iris? Pft. At least Alder plays a role in the game, you don't do anything with Iris except battle her as the Champion. I like Alder because he actually does something else and not just battle you as champion.

You have a point, but... okay, this is a really shallow reason, but I really like what they did with Iris's battle music. XD And, well, there's the surprise factor in that she pulled off a Wallace except the champion she replaced wasn't really too awesome in the first place so it didn't matter as much.

Also her whole space princess thing was pretty cool. Personally I'm only voting Alder because I like all the other champions hahaha

I thought her whole "space princess" thing turned her into the most idiotic champion we've had yet! First we had a champion that acted like a jerk the whole game and made you want to beat him(Blue). Then a bad*** dragon tamer (Lance). Then a hard-as-nails champion with one of the best all around type focuses in the games (Steven). Then a Water specialist who at least looked capable of being a champion (Wallace). Then the goth girl who was annoyingly friendly like Steven and less epic teamwise but still looked capable (Cynthia). Then what seems to be a (admittedly quite fit) 50/60 year old man with a terrible team (Alder). Finally they put a little girl in a giant pink princess outfit who looks 10-13ish. Forgive me if I don't like the way things are going here. Next thing you know they'll put in a School Kid character with all Normal types!Sorry this is so long...
