In Black 2 & White 2 you could encounter Pokemon that N had released into the wild in some areas. They had a special sparkle effect and also N's personal ID number if caught. You could also get N's Zorua as a gift in Driftveil city.

Did you ever catch N's Pokemon and did you use any of them on your team?

In my first playthrough of Black 2, I managed to find and catch every N Pokémon. I used the Zoura on my team and the same with Darmanitan.

I never managed to capture them all, but I did get the gift Zorua that belonged to N, as well as the Meguroco (Sandile) that N released into the wild. I didn't like the sparkle animation bit, however. It was too similar to the Shiny Pokemon animation effect.

Caught a few including N's Timburr, Tympole and Sandile but I only used the Tympole on my team in W2. I remember thinking that they were shiny Pokemon when I first encountered them because of the sparkle thing.

I vividly remember being startled for half a second when I encountered N's Meguroco (Sandile) in the sand at the Resort Desert and thinking that I had found a Shiny as well, only to realize that it didn't have a Shiny coloration and being confused about that. Of course after capturing it I searched online and discovered why it had sparkled.

In order to make N's Zorua wild Game Freak would've had to make Zorua in general available in the wild, which I figure they wanted to avoid since the Zorua line was supposed to be hard to get in Gen V.

For me, this was another concept that made Gen V so unique (and still set quite apart from other gens even up to current)

On a side note- I miss the Zorua line. Love Zoroark’s shiny design!
