-I'll buy items but only to a max of 5 for potions etc, pokeballs can go up 20 and special pokeballs can I trade with kurt to a max of 5

did the whole egg tour thing encountered nobody on route 30 so can still catch a pokemon there

My challenge is going great so far Im playing in platiunum with fairly strict rules i wont buy any items other than pokeball and i can only use the ones i find i am about to challenge roarks gym just gotta grind a little more

with the underground and certain double battle aspects is it the first that you find that you can keep
for instance you walk into eterna forest cheryl starts to tag with you making everything a double battle would you have to pick one of those pokemon in the first double battle or come back without her

An update on my challenge:

I finally made it to Petalburg and Rustboro, catching a couple of Pokemon on my way. I trained a bit in the grass east of Rustboro, and caught a Whismur who I named Rin. Rin died while I was training, and she never even had a chance to level up. Stupid Zigzagoons and their stupid criticals. After I trained all of my surviving members up to 14, I went to face Roxanne, defeating the two trainers in the process. While facing Roxanne, I almost ended up losing Gakupo because of Nosepass. Luckily, he survived with three hit points left, and I was able to switch to Len and secure a victory.

Update time!
I got a new death: Mark Jane sadly passed. Even exposure to Leaf radiation couldn't save it, only mutating it further. I had to beat Koga to get his replacement, a Magnemite named I'mHelping. The Koga battle was rather uneventful, Scatch in its new Charizard plume roasted the Koffings/Weezing, and Groundbeef trounced Muk. Now to grind I'm helping until it's useful and maybe picking up a T-Bolt TM for it.

Ok I started my challenge in Sapphire BUT I lost to may the first time so I restarted ..Just to get beaten by her again in the route near the cycling road X'(
I have two extra pokemon Foxxie the Pocheyana , and McEater the Whishmur .
Prob. ganna restart and grind a bit more before battles .

Extra rules : Only buy 1 pokeball per town/city . Count the starter as my first pokemon in route 101.

I beat the Team Aqua member in Verdanturf Tunnel, beat all of the trainers behind the cut trees, and headed over to Dewford Town. Then, I went into Granite Cave, where I caught Miku the Zubat. I started training her there. While training I ran into a damn Shiny Abra who, of course, Teleported away. And that's where I stopped playing.

Oh man, shiny Abra on these. That has to suck. Well not much happened here. Went to the fighting dojo to pick up my sixth member, and finally got the Thunderbolt TM and Return TM for I'mHelping and Filigree respectively. Also found out that I'm Helping has HP Grass, and I might teach it Toxic, but I doubt it. I'm currently climbing Silph right now.

I guess an update is in order, as it's been awhile. Last post I had just made it out of Meteor Falls, and was faced with a dilemma. Since leaving Mauville Ashe Jr, my rock smash user, had died and I was left without one. I could have backtracked through Fallabor back to Mt. Chimney, or jump down the ledges to Rustboro. I did the latter, thinking I could just use Mr. Briney to avoid Rusturf tunnel and raise my Magikarp til it was a Gyarados outside Mauville. I forgot, however, that Mr. Briney was still in Slateport, so I was stuck in Rustboro, my only option to rock smash my way through Rusturf Tunnel. I was planning on evolving my Magikarp to become an HM slave anyway, so I figured it would just take a little more time battling weaker pokemon. He was level 13 and it took forever for him just to gain one level, earning about 25 exp. per battle. I didn't have the patience for that, so I was forced to teach Rock Smash to Koko, something I didn't want to do at all. Oh well. The rest of my update is less eventful. Myco and Clarence evolved, Clarence was returned to the box, and I caught Chacha the Machop and Saguaro the Cacnea. Kipz raped Magma and Flannery, although I'm concerned I'm relying on him too much. Currently raising Gari and Chacha, in case Myco can't handle Norman by himself. I'm also down to one repeat ball, so I hope I find another Zigzagoon soon.

- Trained Youmu which who got me the win in the gym
- Started to train Marisa which resulted in me not being able to get a new partner in routes 124 to 131
- Took Chase and raped Team Magma
- Beat Maxie
- With the help of a Max Repel I found and the Master Ball I caught Groudon and named him Fluffy
- Beat Wallace with Marisa
- Went to train D-Fly in Meteor Falls to get the Dragon Claw TM which ended very Badly thanks to a focus punch R.I.P D-fly D:
-Currently grinding for the E4 and finding a replacement for Pepper (I don't think she will be useful for the E4 and D-Fly who died)
-Realized I only have Route 132-134 and Victory Road for replacements (Also If I do not find any I'll train Fluffy(Groudon) and Jack(Anorith))
