NYPC moves

Err... I was reading the new 'pokemon of the week' (lickitung) and NPC moves were mentioned. What are they?

They're special moves that you could only get if you obtained the Pokemon from the New York Pokemon Center, during a promotion that they had around...I think it was October of '04.

Basically if you went there during the promotion you'd get a random Pokemon with a special move, Wish in Lickitung's case.

I don't remember any of the others you could get, but it was nothing all that amazing.

I might add that the only real chance you ever have of using those moves is on NetBattle. Regarding movesets, I really don't think Pokemon of the Week is a good place to get them.
