Perry was on pain killers so do not judge his ability to win by his 2012 performance.

What the? Everything he did, including his ad against gays in the military, was under the influence of pain killers? Can we judge him by his lack of judgement by taking pain killers to numb his intelligence while running for the highest office in the country?

I lived in Texas from 1998 to 2010, but I never saw Rick Perry's face until he ran for president. All I knew about him was that he was our crazy governor that wanted Texas to be its own country.

I am speaking of his debate performances, which people largely saw was poor at best to start off with, remember he had back surgery before he even started this thing.

Something that turned out to be just as false as the claim that Sarah Palin said "I can see Russia from my house"

Don't be mad because Romney couldn't rally up the base like Obama and other Democrats who gave better speeches did this week. Also, I want to point out the irony of the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act former CEO of Citigroup Sandy Weill who lobbied Congress for months to get it repealed but now he regrets it.

No I would say Clinton rallied up the base, Obama gave a largely disappointing speech. By the way it seems just as ironic as the people Obama defended in court as a lawyer to get housing loans for poor minorities, now regretting their decision.

Silver Soul said:
B: However, it was ruled by a federal judge that it discriminates against minorities and that it didn't comply with the Voting Rights Act.

And again as I said, it has nothing to do with the vote total for Governorship, redistricting deals with house races.

Silver Soul said:
C: But still, it does have a chance to go blue in the future. Why do you think there were plans to redistrict the state around blue counties?

The plans were to expand Republican seats, the whole point of redistricting is to maximize the districts of your party in the House, especially since Republicans got extra seats thanks to the census. Do you honestly have a clue about what you are talking about? Honestly?

And yet, people want to know what are Romney and Ryan's plans to help the economy. But, we may find out AFTER they get elected and that is the problem. They are not offering specifics with their plans for reasons this election.

Kind of like how Obama has not offered his plan for a second term?

Watch public polling figures if a politician was actually honest about the necessary spending cuts needed. People vote for what they want to hear. It's a more than significant part of what got us into this mess.

Well, Romney showed his foreign policy skills based on his response to blasting Obama for "sympathizing" with attackers. Real classy there, Romney.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/12/mitt-romney-obama-libya_n_1877406.html

Did what Romney say was wrong? Obama's statement even today said:

"“We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, but there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal attacks.”"

Sound's like Obama is parroting what the protesters/attackers said.

But you know what the real problem here is? It is not that Obama got his widdle feelings hurt by Romney.

It's that we were warned last monday that our embassies were in danger.

It's that our embassy was staffed not by marines, but Libyan's own guards who sold out the U.S. personal when push came to shove.

It's that the President did not attend ANY Intel briefings in the last week leading up to 9/11

There were problems here, major problems, problems we knew about and did nothing to fix, and at the end of the day a American embassy is in flames, American flags are burned, and American citizens are dead.

Then explain this from RNC Chairman Reince Priebus who tweeted this.

Obama sympathizes with attackers in Egypt. Sad and pathetic.

Is Obama not parroting the views of the protesters that tore down the American flag? That the use of Freedom of Speech to criticize Mohammad is wrong?

Here's the thing. Obama is the President, NOT Romney. Romney issues those statements yesterday on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 in attempt to use this event for political gain. And today, he renews his statements.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/09/12/breaking-romney-renews-criticism-of-obamas-libya-response

(CNN) – Mitt Romney blasted the Obama administration on Wednesday for a statement he said was made by the U.S. Embassy in Egypt after its security was breached, calling it "akin to an apology" that was "disgraceful" and adding that the president assumes responsibility for all communications from U.S. diplomats.

Romney, during a press conference in Florida, called the killing of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy personnel "outrageous" and "disgusting," and said "America will not tolerate attacks against our citizens and against our embassies."

The Republican presidential nominee first released a statement Tuesday night.

Believe me, even there are Republicans that don't like what Romney said about this.

Ironic that the events of the protest also fell on 9/11, it isn't as if they happened several weeks ago and Romney was waiting for the anniversary to pounce on it. But then again maybe if Obama paid more attention to his daily briefings this might have been avoided.

Believe me, even there are Republicans that don't like what Romney said about this.

Ahh yes because Romney hurting Obama's widdle feelings > President's failure to safe guard our embassies.

I sincerely hope you realize that Obama isn't in charge of micromanaging the various threats against our diplomats (Happens a lot more often that you'd like to thing, and most of the times nothing comes from it).

Why is it whenever something bad happens to the U.S its Obama's fault, but whenever something good happens its clearly the work of the hyper-adept tea party house republicans, and/or not that big of a deal because Reagan did it better..

Obama recieves reports based on the threats present to our embassies and the U.S. from around the world, being Commander in Chief it is his job to raise or lower security at such locations to protect U.S. personal.

But new information makes the story even more damming.

Politico said:
The consulate where the American ambassador to Libya was killed on Tuesday is an “interim facility” not protected by the contingent of Marines that safeguards embassies, POLITICO has learned…

A senior administration official Wednesday called the Benghazi consulate “an interim facility,” which the State Department began using “before the fall of Qadhafi.” It was staffed Tuesday by Libyan and State Department security officers. The consulate came under fire from heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades at about 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday. By the time the attack ended several hours later, four Americans were dead and three others had been injured.

The Benghazi consulate had “lock-and-key” security, not the same level of defenses as a formal embassy, an intelligence source told POLITICO. That means it had no bulletproof glass, reinforced doors or other features common to embassies. The intelligence source contrasted it with the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt – “a permanent facility, which is a lot easier to defend.” The Cairo embassy also was attacked Tuesday.

Note Obama is willing to send in the marines to safeguard the facility AFTER the attack, but for a building in a Muslim city on 9/11, that had been targeted by attacks before, well the "Lock and Key" policy should be enough!

I'll be voting for Mitt Romney in November. Nope, I won't be voting across party lines, since I'm a registered Republican. This will be my first time voting (I'm 20), so it's really exciting. I agree with Romney on both social and economic issues, I really don't like the direction the nation is going.

And by the wa, the reporters disagreed with Romney's statements because of the timing. Heck, even Fox News conservative columnist Peggy Noonan who said, "I don't feel that Mr. Romney has been doing himself any favors in the past few hours. Sometimes when really bad things happen, when hot things happen, cool words or no words is the way to go.”

Just as reporters now are speaking out on Obama not calling Egypt a ally? " It makes one wonder, well, was it worth it? Was it worth supporting the Arab Spring, supporting the demonstrations here in Tahrir Square, when now in Tahrir Square there are clashes going on behind me right in front of the US embassy?"

Why is it that in so many of the cases when radical Muslims blow something up, so many people attempt to blame it on some cartoon, film, or whatever, criticizing Muhammad or the Qur'an, even if it was made in some distant country?

And I can't say I've heard much about the Tea Party taking credit for things that they didn't do, especially foreign policy issues.

On the other hand, some of the wording in your post reminds me of the way some wanted to blame Bush for hurricane Katrina.

Your post exemplifies a double standard all too common in this sort of politics.

My god, so you are saying that we should have gone with the Bush agenda like Romney said?

http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2012/07/romney-blames-arab-spring-on-obama.html

"The Arab Spring is not appropriately named. It has become a development of more concern and it occurred in part because of the reluctance on the part of various dictators to provide more freedom to their citizens. President [George W.] Bush urged [deposed Egyptian President] Hosni Mubarak to move toward a more democratic posture, but President Obama abandoned the freedom agenda and we are seeing today a whirlwind of tumult in the Middle East in part because these nations did not embrace the reforms that could have changed the course of their history, in a more peaceful manner."

I think it is a worthy question to start asking, was it worth supporting if it's result is only more spilled American blood and radicalization. But here is a better question, why did Obama's State Department not allow American Marines to carry live ammo?

Washington Free Beacon said:
U.S. Marines defending the American embassy in Egypt were not permitted by the State Department to carry live ammunition, limiting their ability to respond to attacks like those this week on the U.S. consulate in Cairo.

Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson “did not permit US Marine guards to carry live ammunition,” according to multiple reports on U.S. Marine Corps blog spotted by Nightwatch. “She neutralized any US military capability that was dedicated to preserve her life and protect the US Embassy.”

http://freebeacon.com/reports-marines-not-permitted-live-ammo/

Obama's State Department has ALOT to answer for now.

I'll be voting for Obama most likely, because you know, I'm not a millionaire.

Let me ask you this. Assuming you are a middle class citizen, what has Obama done to improve the middle class? I for sure know that my family is not any better off than when he took office.

In fact we are much worse. Obama is an economic ignoramus. Not to mention some of his social policies such as obamacare border on socialist. They certainly aren't constitutional. What I will remember the Obama era for is food stamps and hand outs.

November 2012. The end of a mistake. Hopefully.

PS: I sincerely hope simple statements like the one in quotes are not what Americans are basing their votes on these days.
