Hey everyone, I'm sorta tired of people wanting Misty to come back.Maybe she will maybe she won't. I for one think you should give Hikari and May a chance i don't think it's fair to the writers. So do you think people are obsssed with misty? Tell me what you think.

The thing is that there are no other girls for Ash to be with except Misty.

If the series is ten years old, Ash is then 20. May was 10 when they met and that was about 5 years ago. So now, Ash's 20 and May is 15. As for Dawn, she's 10. If the thought of Ash+Dawn even went through your mind, you've got issues.

Do you see? Misty is the only possible romantic interest for Ash for at least three years. There may have been a few no-named, one-episode-only characters that had a thing for Ash, but that won't happen.

I think the reason that people want Misty back is pure nostalgia. She was the first female main character and she was with Ash for quite a while, so people are just attached to her.

You know, making topics just to complain about one group of fans who aren't even all that noticeable any more only results in the fanbase picking over old scars for the millionth time and prolonging a debate that might otherwise be dead by now.

Or, the short version: ignore the crazies and they will go away.

The RABID fans do annoy me with how they still expect Misty to come back. And how they hate May cause she 'replaced' her. >>

Misty was cool, but she's gone and people should get over it. Of course you can still like her, but she's not coming back. Just for a few episodes maybe. D:

Kanto and the Orange Islands were the only good seasons Pokemon has had.

What the heck does this have to do with anything?

Romance is such an extremely minor part of Pokemon and this is what people use as a way to champion Misty? Because having a crush on the main character somehow makes her more important? Watching Pokemon for shipping should be extremely low on anyones priorities.

Jesus. Anyone who watches this show mostly for shipping should go get themselves involved in some shoujo anime where there's constant romance.

Um, for all those who say that no one likes Misty, in the Misty vs May vs Hikari thread, guess who's winning? Now I know she's losing to May in the Misty vs May thread, but I bet I can figure out two reasons why. May and Dawn have a lot of perv fans, thanfully Misty fans are a bit better at keeping in check there. However, we are a bit more loud about our opinions. But then again, we don't expect essay long reasons why someone prefers their character. *Looks to Cybercubed and Mandikitty*

misty did nothing, she was as bad as brock. her pokemon were boring too. contests are the best thing to happen to the anime.

anyway, you know whats worst than people making threads about wanting misty back? people making thread about how much those threads annoy them.

Characters being written out is common in several shows, surely enough some of them might be your favorite but that's how it is, move on and just enjoy the frickin' show... If there's something enjoyable about it that is.

And Pokegirl16 can call "Dawn" Hikari if she damn well pleases.

Yeah, I really think this thread should be locked.

We've discussed this topic to death and we don't need to have the same thing over again. I did really like Misty for the majority of her run so its not like I disliked her, but she's been written out 5 years ago so I barely think about her anymore.

Overall though, this topic doesn't need to be discussed again.

I'm pretty damn sure you wouldn't say that to him in person. Let him state his opinion, you have no right to insult him like that. Yet everyone does but that makes you bad as them

Um, yeah, his "opinion" that EVERYONE dislikes Kasumi? Riiight. If you have an opinion that doesn't have any merit and needlessly bashes a character, then his opinion isn't welcome. I have just about as much right to poke out the flaws out of his "opinion" as he does posting his opinion.

Well, you have to admit, the Pokemon fandom pretty much beats the same old topics to death time and time again on a regular basis. Personally, I find this kind of thread less annoying, while still annoying, than all the other beat-up topics.
